Terminology and Elaboration
Quick explanation of terminologies within the guide.
Melee: Within the distance your character could execute a melee attack properly.
Short: Just out of melee range, but not quite as long as medium is.
Medium: Average distance that most attacks will hit. Roughly approximated by corner-to-corner of the world tournament arena’s stone stage.
Long: Just shy of maximum lock-on distance
Instant: Wind-up finishes, or damage begins within 0.5 seconds of pressing the button
Short: Attack occurs around 1 second after pressing the button
Medium: Attack occurs from 1.5-2.5 seconds after pressing the button
Long: Attack occurs 3+ seconds after input.
Testing is mostly consistent for the most part. However, Certain race-specific abilities required the use of a backup character. These may not have been max-level or optimized for this testing, but this is only a damage test, not a minmaxing guide.
Ki Blast Skills – Statistics
Character: Saiyan Female, Lightweight

Specced out more for strike skills. I didn’t want to overgrind so hopefully just seeing the damage relative to itself should be a decent approxomation.
