DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 Guide

Farming Dragon Balls for DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2

Farming Dragon Balls

Overview

My personal opinion as to the most time efficient way of grinding for Dragon Balls.

Getting Dragon Balls

Much like in DBXV 1, the main way of getting Dragon Balls is by defeating Time Patrollers in PQ and looking for the “Got Key Item” notification. In this game however, you fight Time Patrollers in groups of 3, which while making the battle harder, gives you more chances to snag a Dragon Ball.

In my personal experience PQ 4 and PQ 19 are the easiest quests to grind for getting Dragon Balls. PQ 4 is full of easily killable enemies where after their defeat, a Time Patroller Squad has a chance to spawn in the area. PQ 19’s enemies are a little bit harder, but the Time Patroller Squad has a chance to spawn as soon as you start the quest. (Almost always there) Defeat them and keep an eye out for the “Got Key Item” pop up. If you get it, complete the quest as normal, otherwise retry and start again.

Wishes: What they Do

I want money – You’ll get a large amount of Zeni.

I want a rare item – A unique item each time the wish is made. (Goodie Radish is first Item)

I want to dress up – Crystal Battle Suit Outfit (Unsure if it gives anything new past that).

I want to get stronger – Six Echo Soul Devices (Used for High Tier Mixing Recipes).

I want to grow – Automatic level up.

I want a new Ultimate Attack – You get a unique Ultimate Attack.

I want a new Super Attack – You get a unique Super Attack.

I want more useable Characters – Unlocks Hit, Eis Shenron, Nuova Shenron, and Omega Shenron. (In that order; one per wish)

I want a second chance at life – Realocate your stat points.

I want to be drop dead gorgeous – Change your character’s appearance. (Gender and Race are not changeable, it only brings you back to the initial character edit screen where you can edit body type, eyes, hair, etc. of the character you picked in the first place)

I want medals – You will be given TP medals.
