Overview
Hi, I will be showing you a method on how I make money on No Man’s Sky. This involves Gravitino Ball farming.
What You’ll Need
Please read everything before trying so you aren’t missing any details, This is for your own good.
1.) A ship (with decent cargo hold is preferred but optional).
2 .) (This is Optional but VERY useful) You will most likely need the technology called coolant network. It will allow you to survive on hot planets and will allow you to still collect Gravitino Balls in storms.
And Lastly you need a planet with these specifications (Which to me have been pretty common)
3.) (All Optional) A decent weapon and/or sprint upgrade tech.
4.) A Bypass Chip (Optional)
Note nothing here is really required, most of this stuff will just help you farm faster and more effeciently.
How To
If you’ve met all the requirements that I have specified previously, then you’re good to go.
1.) Land on the planet and scan
2.) Look around for Gravitino Balls, They vary in shapes and sizes and become very bright when you get close to them.
Just some screenshots of what they look like on the ground.
3.) You will most likely want a bypass chip in order to find an on planet trading outpost to decrease time between farming and selling.
Please Advise.
As soon as you pick up a gravitino ball, sentinels will spawn (usually 2 normal ones and one combat). You can either run away which is advised if you have the sprint upgrade. Or fight if you have a good weapon. Normally if you have an ok weapon with around 10-12 weapon slots you will be ok, and note none of this is required you can always run back to your ship and flee. (Just make sure its close).
Profit
Lastly you will need to turn in your earnings. Farming near a local on planet trading post is advised.
This is the result of me collecting 20 Neutrino balls.
