Origins High Round Guide for Call of Duty: Black Ops III

Origins High Round Guide

Overview

In this guide i will be showing a few spots that will help you get to high rounds. I feel like alot of new people who play this map really dont like because it is hard. So I wil try to help you out to get to high rounds. This is a solo only guide keep that in mind I am working on a co-op guide and will be out soon.

Accessing Pack A Punch

If you go to the top of the excivation site you will see a portion of the pack a punch and some pieces laying on the ground. To open pack a punch you must activate 6 generators across the map

The generators are located:

  • Generator 1 is in the first bunker (The starting room)

  • Generator 2 is outside the bunker when open the door on the right from the spawn

  • Generator 3 is up the trenches when going on the left side from the spawn

  • Generator 4 is on the far left when going to the excavation site, from the big bunker between generators 2 and 3

  • Generator 5 is on the right side when coming from the big bunker between generators 2 and 3

  • Generator 6 is in the open space after the demolished Church

Once all the generators are on pap will now be open

Every once a while crusader zombies will disrupt the gen and will deactivate it. they will keep deactivating all of them until all gens are gone. If you kill them before they get the generator you get a free max ammo.

The Stratagy

If you have been playing Origins since BO2 then you have most likely heard of this strat. Its very easy and very simple to be honest round 50 should be no trouble at all if you know what your doing and use the right gobblegums. So any way without further delay here is the strat. On round 1 you want to dive under Quick Revive and get a free 100 points, then start up the generator and knife around 5-7 crusaders before you activate it keep in mind you must be on the platform to get the free 200 points for activating the gen. Only knife on round 1. Also grab a shovel in the spawn room you must have it for this strat. On round 2 let the zombies come in and grab the double points, shoot 8 shots in the leg and knife. It should snow on round 3 open the right door and ONLY DIG WHEN IT SNOWS to get the ice staff parts. 1 part will be loacated in the area of spawn, gen 2, and gen 3. Another part will be in the middle of the map, excivation site, gen 5, and gen 4. The last part will be by the church and around gen 6. You will also need the disk to go inside the crazy place.

The ice staff is the only staff u will need, if you want i guess you could build the others, but ice is the only one you will need. Now to craft the ice staff you must find a black & white disk that is located in 3 places around the excivation site.

On top of a small wall, near some crates, on the side facing the church

On the left side of the Pack-a-Punch machine

On the left of the ascending wooden platform leading to the excavation site, right on your left coming from bunker between generators 2 and 3.

You will also need the gramophone which will let you open portals, in order to get staff parts. It is located inside the excavation site.

Once you have placed the gramaphone down a song will play and a stairway will open down there is were you will build your staffs.

Now you must get your crystyl which is in the crazy place. To get to the crazy place there is a tunnel which is for the ice crystyl.

Place your gramaphone down and wait for the teleporter to build up then jump in. You are now at the crazy place grab the ice crystyl and teleport back

Once back in Origins go back to the bottom of the excivation site and build the ice staff. DO NOT TRADE YOUR MAUSER if you have its ok you dig another one up at a dig site, eventually you will get it.

Congratulations you now have the ice staff. But now for this strat to work you must upgrade it. To upgrade it you must go back to the crazy place and solve a little puzzle.

You wil now see some symbols at the top and a shape on the right. You must shoot the right symbol with the right code here is something to help you out.

If you have done the code correctly you will hear a ding, this signals that you have correctly solve the puzzle. Now go back to Origins and you will find 3 tombstones around the map. You must shoot it with your staff and shoot the tombstone with a gun (The Boomhilda, Ray Gun MkII, or Ray Gun will not destroy it)

If you have doen this correctly you will hear a noise this means you have correctly doen it. Go back to the crazy place and go underground and you will find 4 circles floating. You will also find 4 switches in the area that u must hold F on, press F until they are blue.

Once you ahve them all lined up to were they are blue you must go under them and shoot a blue orb with your ice staff.

Now go back to the crazy place and were you got your ice crystyl you will see that you can now insert your ice staff on the platform. you must now kill zombies in the CP and you will see souls going into the staff

The Strategy PT.2

I didnt have enough room to finish on that section so I made a new one. Anyway Samantha will say something and souls will stop going into the platform this signals that you have upgraded the staff. Congrats you now have Ull’s Arrow.

Now the strat is simple head to the tank station outside in the mud. All you have to do is shoot on the ground and reload thats it. When a panzer comes presuming you have the boomhilda just shot him with that it will destroy him. The boom hilda to me is a safty gun its the gun that you use when goin around doing stuff. I highly recomend you get thunderwall on this asap. You will also see you can charge your staff i recomend charging it so that 2 light are light up on the staff. Its good at killing and it saves ammo. a full charge waste to much ammo.

Its really easy as that I would recomnd having gstrikes and a shield just in case i will talk about that in another section.

Accessories

Zombies Shield- Yes this is one of the essential items you will need in the game. Its great for getting Gstrikes early and if u get over run just turn your back to them and shoot the ground with your staff. the locations are.

The first one can be located:

  • On the room on the right, between the Spawn and generator 2

  • On top of the tank station near generator 2

  • On a dead body, at the end of the trench, after generator 2

The second locations are:

  • In a small room, on your right coming from the spawn towards generator 3

  • Next to the Fire portal, at your left when coming from the spawning area

  • Near a dead body, bellow generator 3, before the workshop bunker’s entrance

The third peice is:

  • In the robot’s footstep, between generator 5 and the excavation site, church side.

  • In the robot’s footstep, between generator 4 and the excavation site, church side.

  • In the robot’s footstep, behind generator 4 where stands a soul chest.

Since your going to be camping near the tank station the whole game i recomend building it in the bunker the one near no mans land.

Golden Shovel/Helmet- I mean the golden shovel is nice to have since there is a perk bottle location right in front of the back entrance of the tank station. The helmet is meh, the only use i can see for it is when you went down and you need to get somewhere quick and the robots foot is in the way, otherwise i cant see a use. To get the golden shovel you need to dig up 30 spots, once you have you will hear a ding and the shovel will be golden. The helmet is rng ive gotten it on round 9 and ive gotten it on round 57.

Maxis Drone- not really. Its i guess kinda alright to have if u need support because he can kill zombies but i mean you dont really need him you have an ice staff. The only use i can see for this is when you go down and you need an extra hand the god thing is is that he does follow you.
The Loactions are:

    Maxis brain:

  • Always located on the table next to the spawn.

    Rotor

  • In a corner on top of the excavation site

  • In a corner near the gramophone spawn

  • On a crate, near a torch, on a wooden platform down the cave

    Metalic Body:

  • Its either on the left or right path of mud from the church

One Inch Punch- I mean its alright but not a must have. You can get it by filling up soul chest around the map, but if the robot steps on it itwill close and you will have to restart it.

G-Strikes

I had to make a section just dedicated to these things. They are the best accesory i think in zombies history. Basicly its a beacon and missles from the robots back will launch and a bunch of missles will reign from above. To some it up its a Monkey bomb on Jack Daniels, Cocaine, and Steroids.

To get this badass gadget you must pick up a stone on a table in the tank station.

Now go back to the church and put it in a little tub of water.

The known strat is to get the punches and do it but i found a way around this 1. you can use widows wine knife. or 2 you can build the shield and get kills that way. I always go with the shield. now once your stone is clean you must bring it back to the table in the tank station without geting mud on it. If you do you wil hear Samanthat say start over. you must go back to the water press F to clean it and try again. Its not that hard. Now you must get meele kills again in the tanks station. Once you have done that the G-STRIKES will apear on the table. These have saved my life so many times get these asap.

Perks

Now if your not running an On the House, Soda Fountin, or Perkaholic I will show you in my opinion the best perks to have for this strat.

Quick Revive- Pretty much a no braner, If you go down this will give you a 2nd and 3rd chance after 3 downs though it will go away when it does go away i would prob get stamin up.

Juggernog- once again a must you go from a 3 hit down to a 6 hit down not much to say. Its a life saver

Speed Cola- A must as well the staffs and Boomhilda take a long while to re-load to this is a must as well that extra second or two could meen life or death

Double tap- No probably the worse perk you could get for this strat but if u spend 30000 points you get it for free so why the hell not.

Stamin Up- if your running an Unquenchable or if you find a red dig spot definetly get this. its not top priority becuase the only time you will be moving is when you need to stop the crusader zombies from deactivating a gen.

Widows Wine- Yes this should be your 4th perk. it will slow all zombies down if you dont get this i would get eletric cherry. both have saved my life

Deadshot- lol

Mule Kick- Not the top priorities but not bad if you get it i would get a gun with dead wire or the Ray Gun Mk2 the Mk2 will rek panzers on any round

Eletric Cherry- Yes if your not gona get widows wine get this its a life saver.

Gobblegums

O boy, we didnt have gg on BO2 Origins for this strat this makes high rounds million times easier. I will cover clasics and megas and i will show my loadouts.

Always Done Swiftly: It gives you a slight boost in terms of general gameplay, but it does very little to directly increase your firepower or overall efficiency. It can be used as a filler, but don’t expect it to be of much use.

Arms Grace: For very obvious reasons, no, this is one hundred percent useless.

Coagulant: See above.

In Plain Sight: If your doing classics only use this, if you see your about to go down just pop this and youll be good for 10 secs and it gets 2x activations so it could save your life 2 times

Stock Option: I mean its not the best for this strat but its not the worse. If you dont want to reload this is a great one if you get it on the later rounds id say go for it.

Impatient: See Arms Grace and Coagulant.

Anywhere But Here!: Basically a less reliable In Plain Sight. Could be good could be bad. If your doing classics only use this.

Sword Flay: one of the best classics great for knifing and stocking up points. if your doing classics only use this.

Danger Closest: Not using explosive weapons for this strat.Pass

Armamental Accomplishment: See Always Done Swiftly. Although it helps a little more, mostly with switching weapons, it’s only worth a slot as a filler if you’re hoarding mega gumballs.

Firing On All Cylinders: Absolutely awful, Unlike in multiplayer, in zombies you’re usually gonna want to walk away from your target while shooting at it. Even in the rare event where a single zombie blocks your path, raising your gun when sprinting takes forever so you’re still likely to get in trouble. I’m not saying this can’t ever be useful, but… it can’t.

Arsenal Accelerator: meh theres just better classics and you most likly not gonna be using the annihlator for this.

Lucky Crit: I mean if you need a filler yes but if you have all clasics unloacked id say…..Pass

Now You See Me: Does this even do anything in solo? I think it’s the only gobblegum I’ve never used. I dont think ive ever seen anybody use this in a pack.

Alchemical Antithesis: Forget Perkaholic, this is where it’s at. You’ll come to love what the single best gobblegum in the game can do for you. As soon as you reach rank 35, there’s never a single instance where you should not have this equipped. Yes, in case you hadn’t figured it out, that’s the first thing you should spend a perma-unlock token on.

Aftertaste: If only it lasted until you actually go down… it may not be entirely worthless, but I can easily think of five better gums.

Board games: lol

Board to Death: LOL im on the floor rn

Burned Out: Not the best but its definatly on the worse side it can be usefull in some cases but i can think of 5 better gobblegums

Crawl Space: 100% useless the only use i can even think of this is cleaning your stone but your can just use your shield.

Dead of Nuclear Winter: If your saving Rares and Ultra rares id say use it it could be useful for the high rounds.

Disorderly Combat: Mixed emotions it is prety good for filling the chest early but there just better options.

Fatal Contraption: Definetly not bad if your low on ammo on any round this could be verry helpful also it rekt the panzers.

Flavored Hex: The RNG is back could get a perka or shopping or could give you board to death.

Idle Eyes: Not bad Good for getting meele kills cleaning your stone or chest or when your about to die. The thing that really suprises me is 3x activations so im on the fence about it.

Ephemeral Enhancement: Not bad. Can be useful in the early rounds, when you have a non-upgraded weapon that tends to be ammo hungry. Theres better gums out there though.

I’m Feeling Lucky: If you dont have many cache backs or any other power up gum or saving ultra rares and rares and megas id say use it has a huge RNG factor tho.

Immolation Liquidation: Helpful if you don’t want to chase the box around, all you realy need from the box is the mark 2

Licensed Contractor: Im not gonna bash this out like everyone else in the comunity does but since origins spawns are manly non-barrier spawns……….. this is useless.

Mind Blown: For some reason i find this very useless i will let you all be the judge…… Pass

Phoenix Up: Do I even need to say anything?

Pop Shocks: Not bad not bad at all fantastic for taking out panzers

Respin Cycle: Not a good one but not a bad one i like the consept but Imolation Liquidation exsist so um yeah.

Slaughter Slide:Its okay in some maps but origins has mud so pass.

Unbearable: What this should do is lock the box down when you get a teddy bear i hate this gg so much theres a respin cycle and imolation very very very hard pass.

Unquenchable: Nice. If your trying to save rares and ultras definetly use this its great

Who’s Keeping Score?: Oh Yes! If your not running a shoping free this is one of the best ones for this strat and you get 2x uses so those points can add up fasttttt if your maximising your points.

Bullet Boost: I mean the only use for it is the Boomhilda I can think of 5 better gobblegums.

Cache Back: Yup, definitely. Combine this with Alchemical Antithesis and a Drakon and you’re pretty much guaranteed to reach round 50 every single time. Until you run out of it, that is.

Crate Power: Only gun you should get out of the box is the MK2 So pass.

Extra Credit: Yes ytou need money to get around in Origins If your not running a Shopping Free get this.

Kill Joy: Pretty good. It basically turns any gun into a Death Machine, Not the worse but there are some better gums out there. godd for the upper rounds.

Fear In Headlights: Definetly not bad if your in a pinch or need to get soemthing you have 2 minutes so not the best but not the worse.

On The House: Same as Unquenchable, except you don’t have to buy the extra perk. On the other hand, you don’t get to choose it either, so it’s inferior to Unquenchable, considering you have a fifty percent chance of getting a perk that will do absolutely nothing to help you.

Soda Fountin: I love this gum this to me is poor mans perkaholic if you dont have many perkas run this.

Temporal Gift: Only use for this is Double points on tthe early rounds and zombie blood if your going for that extra perk theres better gums out there.

Undead Man Walking: On the fence about this one if your on the high rounds id say its not toooooo bad but theres just better gums out there.

Wall Power: Were not using any wall guns for this strat. Hard Pass.

Head Drama: Only use is for the panzer. And are you to big of a fat ass to aim your mouse just a little bit higher.

Killing Time: Why is this ultra rare? I mean, why is this even in the game? This gobblegum is garbage. It’s sort of a mix between In Plain Sight and a nuke, only you have to manually “tag” zombies (wasting ammo in the process) to kill them. Seriously this shouldn’t even be in the game, much less with its current rarity. Unless there’s some sort of quirk about it I’m not privy to? Oh and um Idle eyes and fear in headlights exsist.

Near Death Expierence: O man its my fav Ultra Rare it also makes you invinsible for 3 rounds. For solo i would prefer Self MEdication but its definetly usable.

Perkaholic: The one word to discibe this gum. Overated, any day of the weak ill use soda fountin over this, takes the fun out of the game tbh but if you have alot of them by all means use them.

Power Vaccum: Yes if you have alot of these definetly use them one of the most overpowered gums ever. you will blow by the rounds with this gum on.

Profit Sharing: Do I need to say anything?

Reign Drops: Definetly not the worse but I can think of a few better gums than this. But by all means its definetly one of the beter ones.

Round Robbin: Yes this a must for high rounds this just saves your time and energy for one round if you have alot of these definetly use them.

Secret Shopper: Look at Wall Power Completly useless.

Gobblegums Continued

Self Medication: A solo players best gum if you loose your quick revive guess what you can use this when you go down and you get all your perks back combined with perka this is a great gg and its 3 activations.

Shopping Free: Yes Hands down, Its a little tricky and takes a little practice but you can get the whole map open on round 1 if you get this gum its a obsolute amazing gum to have with you.
