Overview
The default settings of Wargame are made for casual play, where the player takes the role of a general, not really caring about the exact position of his troops. As a general, the player is meant to think on a more strategical layer and let his units fight in batches of 4, with an abstract view of troop size and position, known as the feature “label merging”.When you get more into the competitive multi-player part of the game, it really becomes a different game. Micromanaging your units, moving them inch by inch, splitting formations to make use of line of sight obstacles and all those little things matter a lot more. That is why the standard interface settings are not really optimal for competitive multi-player, especially the label merging hurts a lot, when trying to determine a unit’s exact position.I have attached a screenshot of the setting that I believe are best suited for micro management and competitive play.
