Wood – Basic Knowledge

Under the “Wood (Demand)” in the Management tab.
Wood” is a combined burn value of Firewood, Stick, Log, and Plank.

Formula:
In the Resource Storage, Type of Wood multiplies by Wood Burn Value = the total of Wood in the Management tab.

For example:
If you had only Firewood (1000) in RS x 5 Wood = 5000 Wood.
If you had only Log (500) in RS x 10 Wood = 5000 Wood.
If you had both Firewood (1000) and Log (500) = 10000 Wood.
Similarly, if you had Firewood, Stick, Log, and Plank.
Excluding Wood stored in houses chest.

Hint:
– In about 15 minutes (in-game time) villagers will consume 1 of the available type of wood material.

– Inhabitant consume order from Firewood->Stick->Log->Plank.

– Any wood you store in the inhabitant house chest will not be counted in the Management tab.
It is only specific to each house chest.

– Inhabitants will consume wood in their Houses chest first then in the Resource Storage chest.
Each House chest takes priority over the Resource Storage chest.

– Wood inside the Resource Storage chest is shared with all Houses.

IMPORTANT:
Patch v0.6.0.0
* Villagers require food and wood only during working hours (8:00-18:00). (10 hours instead of 24 hours).
* The display range of Wood values has been changed from 0 – 1 to 0 – 100.
* Wood demand depends on the season. In summer, the wood demand is 50% less and in winter 50% more.

* Wood under the Management tab does not count for Racimir consumption per hour.
Racimir does not need wood since you will be controlling him in the game.

Note:
1 Log = 4 Firewood
+10 versus +5
Firewood give better burn value than Log.

They will finish the use of 1 type of wood first then going to the next type of wood.
Meaning if no more Firewood in the RS, it will consume Stick, if Stick finished, it will consume Log, then Plank.



If they show no Wood in the top left corner, it means all Wood material has been consumed.

Firewood
Durability: 100/100 Single Weight: 0.6kg
A type of heating material. Crafted by hand or from Logs using Carpenter’s Rack in the Woodshed. Can be used for crafting Campfires and keeping the villagers warm.
+5 Wood

Stick
Durability: 100/100 Single Weight: 0.1kg
A type of building material. Collected from the ground and small trees or obtained by cutting down big trees. Can be used for crafting various items and for building structures.
+1 Wood

Log
Durability: 100/100 Single Weight: 2.5kg
A type of building material. Obtained by cutting down trees and chopping them. Can be used for crafting various items and for building structures.
+10 Wood

Plank
Durability: 100/100 Single Weight: 1kg
A type of building material. Crafted from Logs using Carpenter’s Rack in the Woodshed. Can be used for building structures.
+5 Wood

Wood vs Food

* Sleeping at night will not consume Wood and Food.

* Worker Mood will be reduced when there is no Wood & Food.

* Worker need Firewood (preferred), or Stick, or Log or Plank.

* Firewood will be consumed much less, than Stick, Log, and Plank.

* In the morning, from the moment workers wake up 7 AM would need Wood & Food throughout the day.
They still need Wood. But not midday where everyone is working.

* Villagers eat food according to nutritional value. The greater nutritional value, the higher priority. In case the nutritional value is the same, the food of lower condition is chosen.

* Meat (Raw Meat) does not count as Food.
So you have to cook the Meat first.
