How to beat bitterblack isle

Overview

A guide for the common whiny-baby.

A hero rises

1) First, start a new character (preferably a heavy one for more carryweight) and go through the intro sequences.

2) Run to the Cassardis inn and withdraw the monocle that the game gives you for free from storage.

3) Go to the Cassardis store and sell the monocle, and then use that money to buy a decent amount of throwblasts.

4) Progress until the game tells you bitterblack isle exists (The military outpost where you fight the cyclops at the beginning of the game I think)

5) Go to cassardis docks at night and travel to bitterblack.

6) THROWBLAST TO VICTORY

Some starting tips on throwblasts

If you are low level, DON’T RUN OUT.

Gazer tips:
When fighting the first major boss of BBI, Gazer, turn your character away from the boss during his flashing eye attack as to avoid getting debuffed. Go to the bottom floor of the bossroom and avoid the spells the tentacles throw at you until you see orange glows appearing under your character to warn you of Gazer summoning tentacles to shoot out of the ground. Stand under the boss to make a tentacle hit gazer when summoned to knock him out of the air, then repeatedly chuck throwblasts at the eye. After this, gazer should attempt to summon 4 tentacle casters to charge up a instakill attack. Throwblast all the tentacles to oblivion and then use the magic cannon left behind to kill the boss if possible. If the cannon does not do much damage for you, just use throwblasts.
