Overview
Were you ever pissed that you couldn’t get on top of that crane that hangs just over Rais’ head? That you couldn’t reach the highest point in the entire game? If you were, I can show you how to get up there!
Avoiding the Final Cutscene
First things first, you will want to avoid the final cutscene. It is very easy to die while climbing up this crane, and unfortunately, dying while your on top of the tower forces you into the final cutscene. Fortunately, you can avoid this at the second tallest crane on the map, the one that gets blown up by Rais.
You will want to get to the very top of the second tallest crane. Then you can walk (or run) down one of the wires onto the crane’s arm. This prevents Rais from blowing up the crane, but also prevents the final cutscene from triggering at the top.
Getting to the Crane
Now that you are on top of the tower, you will need to find a way to the crane.
First, get on top of the scaffolding (or near it) and look towards this:
Jump on the metal rebar, and go to the other side, where the flag is hanging off the pillars:
Jump from pillar to pillar and then jump on the platform and go up the cement bags. Turn right and you will see this:
Go to the wall on the left and jump onto that, then you will want to jump around the pillar to the wall on the right. Then you should see this:
Jump onto the cement bags and get on the rebar sticking out in front of it. Turn to your right so that you face the tall rebar:
Now you will need to use Tic Tac to climb up the tall rebar and jump to the left. This should take you directly in front of the crane:
Climbing the Crane
This part is simple, but also a bit tricky.
You will want to get onto the crane first. Then, to ascend you will have to get onto one of the diagonal bars supporting the crane. Jump from the diagonal bar to one of the horizontal bars directly above it and near it (preferrably the one that is 90 degrees clockwise from it).
Once you get near the top, there will be a blue tarp on one of the sides. DO NOT TRY TO CLIMB THAT SIDE. If you do, you will most likely fall and die.
You will want to get to the side directly in front of the blue tarp. Then jump off the crane and instantly turn back around and grab the top, you should now be able to get on top from there.
Don’t worry if it takes you multiple tries to get on top, as long as you do what I said in the first section, then there shouldn’t be any issues.
You’ve made it to the top of the tallest crane in the game! Woohoo!
Now you could take a few pictures, or just do something crazy. Or you could just enjoy the view.
Remember, it is very easy to fall off of this crane, especially on the arm section of it. On the arm you could fall straight through the middle of it.
