Fixing your problem
Let’s cut to the chase. If you have a very good pc like myself and suddenly experience low framerates and freezing in games here’s how to fix it. I didn’t find this solution until I reinstalled windows and tested my CPU, RAM, GPU and PSU voltages. I even had freezing in less demanding games such as Signs Of Life and Castleminer Z.
Here’s what you do…
1.Right-Click on the volume control on your taskbar.
2.Click Playback Devices
3.Find your output device(for me it was a USB DAC).
4. Right-click it and click properties
5. Click on advanced
6. Uncheck the “Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device” box
That’s it.. you are good to go.. Enjoy your games and have fun.
