Million Arthur: Arcana Blood Guide

Million Arthur Arcana Blood for Million Arthur: Arcana Blood

Million Arthur Arcana Blood

Overview

A description of and how to unlock the Achievements. I got the Platinum Trophy already on PlayStation 4. This is giving a quick summary and some of the easier methods I used to unlock them.

King of Kings

Unlock all achievements.

Unlock all of the other achievements. This is the Platinum Trophy. Pretty easy to do honestly.

I Have the Power!

Battle against Arcana Blood Corrupted Iai Arthur.

Two ways to do this.

One, you can beat STORY Mode. She is the final boss and you can play with the CPU Level set to 1 and the Rounds set to 1 under options. Any character is fine that can play in STORY Mode. Easy enough.

Two, you can play through TIME TRIAL Mode. She is once again the final boss, but this time she will make more of an effort to fight back and you have to play two rounds. Not really hard, but when you cannot use continues, that can make you panic. However, you can also play as Iori, Wildcat Arthur, and Koume Sakiyama.

The King is back

Complete STORY Mode.

Settings, character, number of rounds, difficulty and time do not matter. Just beat STORY Mode however you want to do it. You only have to do it once, but you get more artwork in the GALLERY for doing it with everyone.

In the Skies Above…

Complete EPISODES OF ARCANA BLOOD.

This is just something you read or can set to read. Turn on skip battles if you want and the ability to skip all text. Move text text super fast. You just have no way to skip a whole episode. Either way, it it is not hard and does not take long if you just want the Achievement.

Million Knight Summon

Land a Support Knight attack to perform a combo (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

You can do this in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. Depending on how you feel. This is not hard. You get to pick three assist characters and those are the Support Knights. Just use QCB (214) + A, B, or C to summon one of them. If it has a cost of 2 or 3, you will likely get it without even needing to attack yourself. Getting a combo with them is really easy. I will be explaining how to get other Achievements that will force you to get this one anyway.

Million Blade

Perform a Million Blade Combo (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

You can do this in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. So this is really simple. Every character has two of these attacks (one has three) and they automatically combo if you hit an opponent who is not blocking. So either use QCF (236) + A+B or B+C or C+D (any two attack buttons) or FDD (623) + any two attack buttons and there you go. You need at least 100 on your energy meter to do this. So once the gauge at the bottom goes from at least purple to blue. You will have to use a few of these attacks for other Achievements and so you can use those to get two of them out of the way at the same time.

Elemental Boost

Activate Elemental Boost (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. This is done by hitting A+B+C and can be done once in any match. You need to have at least 100 in your meter.

Limit Break

Unleash a Limit Break (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. This is done by either hitting A+D or B+D or C+D and can be done once per round. Pushes the opponent back if you hit them with it. Simple enough. In this case just use it once.

Eeny, Meeny, Miny…

Customize a Knight (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. In STORY and TIME TRIAL after you select a character, you will be taken to screen with the 3 sets and at the bottom is Customize. Just pick Customize and choose one of the 3 sets. In TRAINING Mode it is a little different. Pick a character and then pick your dummy. After that you have the option to easily press up and click Confirm to select your Support Knights. Pick three Support Knights and you are done.

Million Knights Master

Summon every single Knight (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. Pick TRAINING Mode for this. When you pause in TRAINING Mode, you get the TRAINING MENU. Go to the 3rd page of that menu and turn the Million Knight Summon to Infinite. Then use your summons. Go back to the TRAINING MENU and go to the 4th page and click on Knight Customization to switch out your Support Knights. Do this until you have used them all. This is the fastest and easiest way to do it.

Practice Makes Perfect

Inflict a total of 500,000 damage during TRAINING

Go into TRAINING Mode and have fun. Honestly I would not even bother tracking this. You will more than likely have obtained this Achievement chasing after all of the others. If not, then go for it after you get all of the other Achievements. Also use QCB (214) + A+B or B+C or C+D (any combination of two attack buttons) to do the most damage quickly. If you have everything set, you should always end up doing 10,000 minimum.

Going on an Adventure!

Play the TUTORIAL.

So it really does not matter how you do this. Just go to TUTORIAL and click on something. You can even pause to exit back to the menu. This game does not actually push you to look at the tutorial at all.

Millionth of a Second!

Complete TIME TRIAL Mode.

So go into TIME TRIAL Mode and pick your favorite character or pick Twinblade Arthur and you can finish this mode by mostly just pressing A. Let it auto combo for most of the time if you just want to get it done. Just remember you cannot continue, so make sure you are at least familiar enough with the character to use a Million Blade move if need be. Twinblade Arthur actually throws his sword with the QCF (236) + any two attack buttons move. Part of the reason I think he is a fine option if you are not really familiar with any of the characters.

Here I Come!

Set your opponent’s Knight Summon Cost to 5 (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can do this in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. I recommend picking TRAINING Mode. You just need to customize a Knight team to include Ruler Supreme Guinevere and summon her twice against your opponent. As long as she hits, she will increase the cost of their summon. If they have one with a cost of 3, you will unlock this achievement on the second hit. This changes if they summon that Knight which resets the cost. Hence why I recommend TRAINING Mode for this. Just make it a little faster.

Hope You Have Travel Insurance!

Summon Otherworldly Hawkeye with Otherworldly Riesz (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. So first you need to make sure you pick Riesz and edit one of her Knight selections to include Hawkeye. Then you just need to input the command to summon him. He has a cost of 2. It is that simple.

Armor Up!

Summon Clone Merchant Arthur and activate Super Armor (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. First you need to edit someone’s Knights to include Clone Merchant Arthur. Once you are in battle, you need to summon him. After that he will put a shield on you and you will flash pink like Iori is in that picture. If you use a skill like QCB (214) + D with Iori and the opponent hits you, you will not stop and you will hit the opponent. This effect is often referred to Super Armor. It does not last long and if you get hit without using a move, it just breaks the armor and you take damage. You can do it in TRAINING Mode by recording the opponent hitting A every so often and just go through one of the A attacks. Not hard when you know what to do.

Little but Powerful!

Summon the unmasked Unique Little Grey (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. You need to edit someone’s Knights to include Unique Little Grey. When you summon her, she needs to look like the above image. She has the chance of coming out with a helmet on and in a slightly different outfit. Not sure exactly how that works, but most of the time she will look like the above image. If not, just summon her until she does.

That One’s Got No Justice!

Land 2 or more hits with Foible Elle during a combo (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. I am going to first recommend TRAINING Mode as you can set the summons to Infinite. Many characters already have the above Foible Elle in set 3, but if the character you pick does not, go on ahead and add her into a set. This is actually a little trickier than might first appear. I recommend getting at least one hit in, summon her and then a small combo and summon again. She takes a small amount of time to recharge. So this is the exact setup I did as Iori. I did j.D (Jump + D), QCB (214) +A, QCB (214) +D, QCB (214) +D, QCB (214) +A. For some reason that worked better for me than a ground D and I was able to summon her twice in one combo string. This only counts if the combo numbers do not turn grey. They have to be yellow.

High Score Heroine!

Summon Otherworldly Akira Oono in TIME TRIAL Mode.

First pick TIME TRIAL Mode. You will need to Customize one of your character’s Knights to include Akira Oono, as shown above, and when you get two stocks just summon her. You can actually hold the button down to delay the attack. So if you have her set to QCB (214) + A, you can hold A to delay the move. It might do more damage, but I mostly just cared about the timing. She kicks that arcade cabinet pretty fast and pretty hard.

Heeere’s Arthur!

Successfully perform Fortress Breaker with Twinblade Arthur (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. Really it does not matter what you pick. I did it during STORY Mode. Fortress Breaker is done by pressing HCB (63214) + D. This move is a counterattack. The opponent has to hit him when he starts holding his sword. The thing is it cannot be from a Support Knight or a projectile. Also it cannot be a throw. So if you are playing against the AI, try and figure out its patterns before you really commit to using Fortress Breaker. Otherwise you could end up taking small amounts of damage until you lose.

To Hell!

Land additional hits with Blade-Protector Arthur’s Rising Heaven (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. Just go into TRAINING Mode and pick Blade-Protector Arthur. Rising Heaven is FDD (623) + A, B, or C. Quickly just hit the same attack button to perform To Hell.

Over Here!

Move using Thief Arthur’s Wire Shot (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. The command for Wire Shot is in air FDD (623) + A, B, or C. Go on ahead in do this in TRAINING Mode. Jump and input the command. A will take you backwards, B will go straight up and C will move you forward. In case it is not clear though, Jump FDD (623) A, B, or C.

Take That Back!

Unleash Zechs Siegfried’s Elemental Cannon (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Mode. Pick TRAINING Mode. You have a few options to start this. You can use Andvaranaut Bracers by just pressing D and hitting the opponent. You can use Elemental Predator QCB (214) + D (chargeable by holding D), this requires you to absorb a projectile from the opponent. You can use Savage Assault Suction FDD (623) + D and hitting the opponent. Once any of these has absorbed something from the opponent, you will be able to use Elemental Cannon. Elemental Cannon QCB (214) + D, so the same command as Elemental Predator. That will release whatever element you have gained at that time and fire it at your opponent. I recommend being pretty close to the opponent when you fire it off.

Ice Cold

Perform Freezing Seal with Hybrid Nimue (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. So this one is the easiest of them all. Go into TRAINING Mode and pick Hybrid Nimue. Freezing Seal is done by pressing D. If you hold down D, it becomes a further and harder hitting projectile. That is it.

Around We Go!

Land a hit with Type II Bisclavret’s Burning Spiral (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. Pick TRAINING Mode and choose Type II Bisclavret. The command for Burning Spiral is in air hit D. So walk up to the opponent, jump and press D. Another really easy one.

Magic Turret Power!

Land a hit with Void Eternal Flame’s Magic Turret (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. Go into TRAINING Mode. So this one is a little confusing. Possible translation issues, I am not sure. If you have the meter set to Infinite, you can do the attack already, but you will need 100 meter for this. The attack according to the Command List that you are going to use is Arcane Turret (Dual-Wielding). The attack’s name on the screen will be Magic Turret/Dual-Wielding. The command is FDD (623) + A+B or B+C or C+D (any two attack buttons). I prefer being close to the opponent to get the full effectiveness of this attack. Anyway, there you go.

Checkmate!

Successfully perform Unique Snow White’s Seventh Shoulder Tackles (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. Go into TRAINING. So this is a bit harder. I prefer to have an arcade stick and I have a few. First you are going to need 100 meter. The attack you are going to use again in the Command List does not quite match in name. It is called Seven Shadows Tackle (Grapple). The command is 360×2 (63214789×2) + A+B or B+C or C+D (any two attack buttons). Let me clarify, that is 360, 360 (63214789, 6321479) + any two attack buttons. This is a Grapple. That means you will have to be right next to the opponent and this as far as I can tell is a ground only version. You will get it eventually.

Strike True!

Land a hit with Otherworldly Riesz’s Dragon Fang Spear (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. Go into TRAINING. This is another really easy one. Dragon Fang Spear is press D. You can hold D to charge it which changes the element from wind to fire, but it is D.

There’s No Time to Waste

Cancel Iai Arthur’s Pierce Through without unleashing the attack (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. Go into TRAINING Mode. There are a lot of ways to do this, but you only need one and I am going to keep it simple. The command for Pierce Through is QCF (236) + A or B or C. To do this you can delay the move by holding any attack button. So for this example do QCF (236) + C and hold C. While holding C press either A or B. Iai Arthur will just stand back up. You could also put in a command for a different attack, summon a Support Knight, or even use a Million Blade. To name just a few other options, but you get the point.

Time for Your Shots!

Land a hit with Otherworldly Koume Sakiyama’s Time for Your Shots! to perform a combo (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. Go into TRAINING Mode. The command for Time for Your Shots! is QCF (236) + A or B or C. You are going to want to do QCF (236) + B. This is a straight line version where she hits and yanks the opponent towards her. Pressing A will cause to be an anti air and C will focus on a crouching or downed opponent. It says combo, but the pull counts a second hit. So just do the B variation from the start and you are done.

Mission Complete

Load Wildcat Arthur’s Magic Charge with Fire, Ice, and Wind (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. Go into TRAINING Mode. To make this easier, pick a SET like the one shown above that has 3 different element Support Knights. With that done, Summon a Support Knight. Once summoned use Magic Shift to get a stock of the element. The command for Magic Shift is QCB (214) + D. Do it once for each Support Knight and that is all you have to do.

What’s Wrong!?

Successfully link Otherworldly Iori Yagami’s in air C to 108 Shiki * Yamibarai in a combo (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. Go into TRAINING Mode. Now conceptually this is simple. If you lack experience with fighting games, this can be a pain. In air C to the command for 108 Shiki * Yamibarai which is QCF (236) + A or B or C. I will do my best to explain here since it has to combo. First get close to your opponent. Jump and at the last possible moment before touching the ground press C. Quickly after doing so input QCF (236) + C. If you do it just right, the combo will pop up yellow or likely no combo. If you press C to early, Iori will not be able to land in time to pull off 108 Shiki * Yamibarai as a combo move. If you press C to late, Iori will be standing on the ground and you will do a regular ground C. Hopefully that helps.

Excalibur!

Land 20 hits with a Million Skill (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. Now by this point you should have this already. Main reason being you likely already got it from doing Magic Turret Power!. If you were right next to the opponent when you did the move, you should have done about 50 to 60 hits easy. If not, go into TRAINING and pick Void Eternal Flame and use her FDD (623) + any two attack buttons. You can look at the Achievement Magic Turret Power! if you need a refresher. Otherworldly Riesz also has a good move for this with QCF (236) + any two attack buttons. If she close to the enemy you will at least get 20 hits.

Million Excalibur!

Land 20 hits with a Million Excalibur (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. Go into TRAINING Mode. Pick Void Eternal Flame as your character. Make sure you have 200 meter so it is red. Get near the opponent. The attack you are going to use is World Blazer (Dual-Wielding) and the command is QCB (214) + A+B or B+C or C+D (any two attack buttons). This is going to net you two Achievements at once. If you Play with Fire… will also be unlocked. I am going all of this for that Achievement.

Behold Excalibur! The Sword of Power!

Finish of an opponent with Million Excalibur 5 or more time (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL Modes. I am not sure if it would count in TRAINING Mode even if you set the opponent to not have refillable life, so let us use STORY Mode. Change the game settings to CPU Level 1 and Rounds 5. Pick whoever you like for this that is available in STORY Mode. This is the attack that requires 200 meter. So it has to be red. Get the opponent’s health down fairly low and use the command QCB (214) + any two attack buttons. This command is the same for every character. Finish the opponent with that attack 5 times. Does not have to be the same opponent or even in the same run, but there you go.

I am the Chosen One

Achieve a perfect victory (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL Modes. Once again, I think TRAINING will not work for this. Anyway set the Options for STORY Mode to CPU level 1 and Rounds does not matter. Pick your best character and go to town. If you are used to the character, should not take long.

Time to Test My Skills!

Play VERSUS Mode.

Go into VERSUS Mode. You have an option to pick PLAYER (Play against someone else) and CPU (AI controlled opponent). Pick one. If you have two different controllers, life will be a little easier for the next two Achievements.

Protect and Eliminate

Achieve 5 victories in VERSUS Mode.

Against a Level 1 CPU with 1 Round, this will go by pretty quick. Just keep choosing to Rematch. If you have a second controller, this will be even faster against an opponent that does not move or fight back.

Catch Me if You Can

Play 20 matches in VERSUS Mode.

Go to VERSUS Mode. In this case you do not even have to win. Just play a full on 20 matches. With 1 Round, this should take no time at all. Make sure to hit Rematch to make it go by faster.

If You Play with Fire…

Achieve a Fire Elemental Bonus of at least 2.0 in a single Combo (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

This will also unlock Million Excalibur! if you have not gotten that Achievement yet. This is the easiest of the 2.0 ones to get.

Look, My Mother’s Apple!

Achieve a Ice Elemental Bonus of at least 2.0 in a single Combo (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. Go into TRAINING Mode. Look at my above selection. Type II Tor, Clone Pharsalia and Type II Peridod. Make sure Million Knight Summon is set to Infinite. Now, this would not be an issue at all if it was not for the detail that you need the combo to stay yellow until the 2.0 is hit. After that, no one cares. The character you pick in this case does not matter as long as your set is the above mentioned. Push the opponent into the corner. Jump and then quickly QCB (214) + C, QCB (214) + B, QCB (214) + A, QCB (214) + C, QCB (214) + A and QCB (214) + B. You may not need that very last one. If you do not have the Million Knight Summon set to Infinite, this will not work. This was the least headache inducing way I found to unlock this Achievement.

Where the Wind Blows…

Achieve a Wind Elemental Bonus of at least 2.0 in a single Combo (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. Go into TRAINING Mode. You are going to pick Otherworldly Riesz as your character. For your set you are going to want Clone Techno-Smith Arthur, Clone Aife, Clone Uathach. Make sure the Million Summon Knight is set to Infinite. Move the opponent to the corner. This is the setup. Press D, QCB (214) + B, QCB (214) + A, QCB (214) + C, QCB (214) + B, QCB (214) + A. If done fast enough and correctly, the opponent should be stuck in the one spot until the last hit. Remember you combo must stay yellow until it hit 2.0. After that, no one cares.

No Holds Barred!

Battle against Twinblade Arthur using Iai Arthur (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. So in STORY, he is not one of her opponents. The best option is TRAINING Mode. Just pick Iai Arthur for you to play as and Twinblade Arthur as your training dummy. TIME TRIAL Mode is random until you get to the boss, so you never know if Twinblade Arthur will be your opponent.

Elemental Master

Use Elemental Counter to land Fire, Ice and Wind Elemental hits during a single Combo (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. This is actually much easier than it sound. Pick Twinblade Arthur and for his opponent pick Iai Arthur. For his SET 3 pick the first 1 Fire, the first 1 Ice and the first 1 Wind. Make sure the stocks are maxed. Push the opponent in the corner. QCB (214) + A, QCB (214) + B, QCB (214) + C. Should do exactly what you need it to. Fire I think has to be done first to start the Counter. There are other ways to do this as well, but you only need the three hits to count as one yellow combo.

Limit Break Master

Land 20 hits on your opponent with a Limit Break (excluding VERSUS, NETWORK Modes).

Can be done in STORY, TIME TRIAL, TRAINING Modes. Go into TRAINING Mode. This is actually worded poorly in my opinion. It means hit the opponent with Limit Break 20 times and not a 20 hit Combo with Limit Break which is what it sounds like to me. So in the options, make sure Limit Break is not set to already being Active so you have a meter that caps at 200 and not 300. Go up the opponent and press A+D. Then hit the reset. Do this same exact process 20 times. It does not take very long this way.
