Overview
Welcome. Since nobody has made these, and since I like this game, I figured I’d start a series explaining everything you need to know about the scenarios in this game. Starting chronologically. Paint The Town Red is a game where levels are designed with “More than meets the eye” in mind, and since it holds no tutorials, and with levels taking different approaches, you’ll find yourself discovering things you might not have even known existed. These guides are here to help you discover everything. If you don’t want levels spoiled, play them yourself first. The Biker Club is the first map in the menu, and one of the first two released, along with the Disco. It has 79 enemies in the level.
The Main Parts
First, lets talk about the biggest things present.
There are 3 special areas on this level, (2 which contain bosses)
These are:
(Just to the left of your spawn)
(At the back)
(To the right of the Kitchen)
In the kitchen, there is a few knives and cleavers, and pans, and not much more, but the thing to note is the three cooks with weapons that attack you. They are also slightly tougher than an average enemy (1.5x Health/1.5x Attack speed), while the chef (The one without any headgear) has 2.5x/2. Walking into this area before starting the riot will start it.
The office is where one of the bosses resides, which is the biker boss. (The one behind the desk)
After you walk in, he will pull a machete from the table, and him and his goons will attack. You can actually take the machete off the table before him if you’re quick enough. He is moderately tougher than an average enemy (3x Health/1.5x Attack speed), so beware. Walking into this area before starting the riot will start it.
The basement is definitely the toughest out of the three areas, as it has the most goons, and the toughest boss, which is the boxer at the back. The boxer is a unique enemy in the fact that he has a different punching animation. He will keep his arms up to his face, and take quick jabs at you, which, unlike other punches, cannot be blocked completely. He is moderately tougher than an average enemy (4x Health/2x Attack speed), and can be quite a challenge if faced with his goons, as well as one that walks out of the door to his left. Walking into this area before starting the riot will start it.
The Secret/Not So Secret Weapons
This level, like any other, is chocked full of hidden weapons, (or not so hidden ones), that are sill noteworthy. Such as:
(Note: This makes this the only map in the game with not two, but three machetes, as of writing this guide.)
(Note: To get this, you have to run and jump. It takes a few tries.)
(Note: Walking into this area before starting the riot will start it.)
(Amusingly enough if you pick this up, you will start the riot.)
(Note: You will have to knock the lid off.)
(Note: The pillow has to be nudged off.)
The Closing Notes
There’s not much to say about this level, as evident, but never the less, it is rather fun.
Thanks to everyone that helped improve this in the comments with the stuff I missed. Much appreciated. And thanks for reading.
