Tactic 1
This is the worst way to deal with squeakers by far:
Rage or trolling
… Are you kidding me? Yelling at that squeaker isn’t going to make him shut up. Trolling is only going to make his voice raise and make your “ears bleed” somehow. I don’t know why you would even think this.
Muteing
Good job, you have a brain! Now, this tactic is not as effective as you may think, as OH MY! They can leave and come back. Good try though. I admire you. Or you could mute him yourself. That works to.
What? WHAT!? WHAT DO YOU MEAN THIS IS EFFECTIVE!
Be nice. Yes. That is right, the best way to deal with squeakers is to be nice. What a turnabout! Now you can make a friend. Yay.
And by the way, your ears are not bleeding when you hear a squeaker talk. I can assure that. The more you hear a squeaker, the more tollerant you get.
