Overview
A walkthrough to the Pre-alpha of hello neighbor! This guide will give you hints to where to find the things you need, but if that is not your style, then we also have the direct answers as well.
Prologue
Its the middle of the night, everyone is asleep, but not you, you have seen the glow from your neighbor’s basement, its time…to investigate. As you walk up to the basement door…You get attacked from behind! You are thrown out of your neighbor’s house. When you wake up, the basement is now locked with a key and a code, and even blocked off with a board…
Now that I have dragged this out as long as I possibly can, its time to get going!
Getting the lock off
LOCKPICK METHOD
The lockpick is hidden in a drawer somewhere, but which one?
Its hidden in the drawers that the TV in the living room is on, if the Neighbor is watching TV, your going to have to divert his attention, smashing a window is a great way to do this.
KEY METHOD
The key is hidden behind an object, that is about the most vague hint you are going to get in this guide.
The key is hiding behind the TV in the living room, again, if he is watching TV then you need to divert his attention, again, breaking a window is a great way to to this.
Getting the board off
CROWBAR METHOD
The crowbar is hidden among a pile of junk.
The pile of junk in question is the one behind his house! Go behind his house, and the crowbar is lying in the wardrobe.
HAMMER METHOD
The hammer is in the very back of the house.
I’m not kidding, you have to go through a ton of rooms to get to the boiler room, where the hammer is just left of the door.
Getting the code entered
GETTING THE NEEDED TOOL
This one will not appear until you have been caught a few times.
After being caught a few times, this tool will appear either on the nightstand in the bedroom, or in the bathroom sink.
USING THE TOOL TO GET THE CODE
Those pictures look mighty suspicious to me…
By the back door there are 2 pictures take the one on the right off and use the tool to reveal the code!
After the nightmare sequence
After the nightmare sequence some things are moved around, but where to?
The Crowbar and Key have been moved from their previous positions to the wall on the garage.
