Im Cheesus Gamer and I am going to teach you on how to get professional in the stealthiness of the game!
Basics
Welcome to my first Guide on B;R
In this guide we will go on the tactics for being stealth as possible
Some ways of assasination and many other things that can help
Part 1 Stealth
BlackLight is a really awesome game features a high ammount of customization.
By the features you cna get real stealthy so Lets start!
First of all you need to be stealth by movement.We will talk about movement techniques later but remember that when you run you will make a LOT of sound!So always walk when you feel like you are near to enemies.
Second of all you need to be silent as possible by not doing stupid things and/or using things, test firing etc.You should use a suppressor If you can so you can stay more sneaky!
After that you need to use a good way of camo!You should use dark tones or black and you should not use Bright colours that will give you away!
Part 2 Items
You just cant do all the job by your self! You will need the help of items!
You should try to get some decent armor that is light so it lets you go faster and sprint longer!
With great speed goes great health.
After a decent armor you need a nice hat that gives a good ammount of HRV and speed but you have to sacrifice your armor and HP.
Your most importent item would be your shoes If you buy the jacket that doesnt allows you to carry any items!
Your stats should look something like this:
After that you will need a good knife that will help you to take down targets easily.
I would suggest a machete but If you can afford Throwing knifes they are awesome since you can throw of press Melee(F by default) You can one hit kill to most people(except the tank-ish guys).
You should Also get your self a cloak since It grants invisibility which is TOTALLY awesome!
You can also use the shadow or black camo or use a decent cement looking camo
Part 3 Assasination
At the end were here. The part where all the fun begins!
Grab your knife, cloak and gun and wear your sneaky pants!
Were going to hunt!
You can use different ways of assasination
First of them is the classic knife way.
You locate the target and sneak or rush at him and knife him(Several times till he dies or you turn into dead meat)
Pros:
-Silent
-Deadly
-Quick(If you have enough damage)
Cons:
-Doesnt always works
-You can get seen and die before you can even reach the target
-You might not have enough damage and target kills you
Second Way is using Guns
You can use some guns to take out targets from safe ranges
Just dont get seen, aim for the head(if your accuarcy is bad aim for higher body or just spray and pray) and fire in bursts.
You can use snipers to be even more effective at range but a good pistol is recomended since some people may reach you so use a HRV Blackout to not get seen
Pros:
-Fast
-Ranged
Cons:
-Bad accuarcy
-Too much sound
-Gives away your position
Third way is Traps and Grenades!
This is the way i never use but you can use some mines and grenades or even a HRV Blackout to hide them!
Remember to be near to your traps since target may not die
I suggest using EMP and shock types since you can get the target by yourself!
Pros:
-No attention needed
-Ka-Boom
Cons:
-Some people may see them
-Not very effective
Part 4 Movement
For anyone that needs help in movement as an assasin here it is!
You should crouch since it makes your profile low and you amke less sounds(Also you are less visible if you are cloaked and move in crouch)
You can dash to enemies with knife since they will probably die.
You are faster than others use that by your side!
You can usually run away from enemy fire and go to cover!
Remember to stay sneaky and you wont have a problem!
Tips & Tricks
Here are some tips by me
-Always fire in bursts
-Crouching is always good for both accuarcy and sneakiness
-Knifes are most effective from back
-Throwing knifes are awesome since they 1 hit kill(usually) when thrown or used by melee key(F by default)
-You should not make sounds too often
-Only run if you have to.
And remember have fun!
Also I suggest cloak and go behind enemy-ies and start a knife combo on them!They usually die before they can understand you are there.
By the way use HRV for your advantage!
