Intro
Hope you will like this guide and you will learn more about ammunition (special and standard).
Standard Ammunition
Normal ammunition does not cause bonus damage. However, there are also special magazines that can be identified by the letter code in their name:
‘Q’: Quick reloading
‘L’: Light magazine (run faster)
‘E’: Express magazines (faster reload times and run speed – but not as much as their Q and L variants)
‘XL’: Extra Large capacity for additional ammunition
Special Ammunition
Special ammunition is exclusively available from the Foiche brand. Usually, this special ammunition cannot be bought permanently in the Marketplace, however, it may be a permanent component of a premade weapon like the Foiche x-2 ‘Headhunter’.
Incendiary Ammunition
Incendiary Ammununition has the letter code ‘INCD’ in its name.
It will cause 70% damage immediately, and 40% over the next 3 seconds.
Pro Tip: While using a Bolt Action – Use INCD ammo and most of the time your foes will perish.
Explosive Ammunition
Explosive ammunition has the letter code ‘XPL’ in its name.
It will cause 80% damage to the target, jar the target’s vision and will have a big pop sound when the target is hit, possibly leaving a ringing of the ears. Agents who have been eliminated with this type of ammo can not be revived.
Toxic Ammunition
Toxic Ammunition has the letter code ‘TOX’ in its name.
Toxic Ammunition has the following in-game effects:
- Deals 40% damage immediately to targets currently unaffected by toxin.
- Deals 60% damage immediately to targets already affected by toxin.
- Targets receive 40% additional toxic damage over a 3 second duration.
- Allies to the target in close proximity receive 40% toxic splash damage over a 3 second duration. This makes toxic ammunition great when dealing with large groups of enemies.
- Anyone affected by toxin will have their vision obscured for the 3 second duration of the toxin.
Electro Ammunition
Electronic Ammunition has the letter code ‘ELEC’ in its name.
It will cause 90% base damage on all targets, and an additional 20% bonus damage on Hardsuits, Turrets, and Barricades. Hardsuits hit by this ammunition will also have their turning speed reduced by half for a .25 second duration.
