Console Commands

Overview

This guide will give you helpful console commands that will expand your gameplay experience.

General

These are general console commands.

1. /Disconnect
2. /Reconnect
3. /Connect (then enter the IP address to your favorite server)
4. /quit

Maximizing gameplay experience.

If you want to tweak graphics to increase your FPS in the game, use the console by pressing “~” button then type these commands.

1. /cg_drawfps 1
2. /cg_drawlagometer 1
3. /com_maxfps 125
4. /cg_fov 80
5. /r_drawdecals 1
6. /maxpackets 100
7. /r_drawsun 0
8. /cg_brass 0
9. /sm_enable 0
10. /cl_packetdup 1

Having fun offline

These commands will help you explore COD4 on your own server. You can discover new areas of maps, and test weapons. To create a server follow the screenshots listed.

Once you have setup your server. You can execute the commands listed in “Having fun offline”.

1. God mode – /god
2. God mode – /demigod
3. No clip – /noclip
4. Recieve every weapon – /give all
5. Full ammunition – /player_sustainammo 1
6. Add a laser sight – /cg_LaserForceOn 1
7. Enemies ignore you – /notarget
8. Change maps – /devmap mp_crash (insert the map title)
9. Set gravity; default is “39” – /jump_height [number]
10. Set speed; default is “1.00” – /timescale [number]
11. Better vision – /r_fullbright 1

To execute these maps, type /devmap (then the map name of your choosing) into your console.
