Overview
Describes the strategy for winning the game and getting Million Dollar Babies achievement.Additionally, features some tips on how to earn more money.
Early Steps
Selling out to the investment bankers on Wall Street and becoming the richest painter starts with creating art in your garage. You need to impress the older customers more than the punks who lead to a different 2nd and 3rd acts. You can still sell art to punks if you need extra cash because they are easier to please. Do not sell anything to Benjamin – he’s a meme customer who will buy almost anything but doesn’t help progress the story. For older customers use 5-6 different colors, preferably darker tones and try to paint something that looks like an actual painting and not abstract shapes and lines. Smiley faces with additional details usually do the trick.
Customers you need to please look like this:

Mid Game
After you have impressed the critic at the end of act 1 you can go to act 2 to start painting for more important customers. However, bills increase to 250 a week because you have a much nicer studio.
Make sure the article says “Master The Craft”.
Note: You don’t have to go to the 2nd act immediately you can still sell art to build up the bank while your garage bills are low.
In the 2nd act remember to spend at least 2-3 minutes on each painting starting with the first brush stroke and ending when you put a painting on the wall. More time spent increases painting value. Do not worry about the bills, eventually a single painting will cost much more than a week’s bill of acts 1 and 2. Now you can start impressing the “suits”. The trick is to create minimalistic geometric paintings that utilize bright fields of colors and geometric shapes. Not to be confused with pure minimalist paintings.

Maximum Profit
When pleasing the businessmen remember that there doesn’t seem to be a limit to how many colors you can use, so be creative. Spend up to 5 minutes on fairly detailed paintings, ignore anyone who tries to buy them except the businessmen in suits. When painting prices reach 3000 euros you can also go for the 9000 euro achievement “Corny” – spend 15-30 minutes on the next painting. 15 minutes seems to be more than enough time to increase the value above the 9000 limit, however just to be safe you can wait more. Once you found a good combination of colors and shapes the risk is low. Remember that even if one of the businessmen rejects the painting the other one can still like it. I have boosted my painting value above 20 000 having sold the previous for 4000 by waiting 30 minutes. Only poorly chosen colors/ shapes and AI quirkiness can jeopardize this strategy. If for some reason the strategy didn’t work you can try again in act 3. Typically paintings sell better in the last act.
Note: If you’re just below the 9000 try bargaining with the customer. Click the yellow icon under the timer line.
30 minutes from the first brush stroke.
Completing the story
You should have ~30 000 euros after using the previous strategy. I found that having more than 10000 at the start of 3rd act makes the game fairly easy to win, just keep making the same art as before spending 3-5 minutes on it. You will get around 4000 for each sale and eventually you’ll start hearing distorted music and echo when selecting colors. This is a signal that the end of the game is close. This usually happens right after your customers become euphoric. If you’re still painting at that point it’s time to finish up and wait.
In the ending credits you’ll see text praising you as the richest artist who ever lived.
Notes
In the 1st act critic should show up after you’ve earned around 1500.
In the 2nd act that number is around 10000.
Waiting to bargain with a customer usually helps get better deals as opposed to fast clicking the yellow icon.
