Overview
Here’s a little guide to get the “Trophy Hunter” Achievement.
How
You will need some weaponry and a spear is advised.
It is recommended to do it in creative mode so it is faster. (Creative mode unlocked after beating the game.
These heads are required for you to get for the achievement (No specific order):
- Shark Head
- Crocodile Head
- Deer Head
- Boar Head
- Raccoon Head
- Turtle Head
- Seagull Head
- Lizard Head
- Goose Head
- Squirrel Head
- Rabbit Head
You get the Shark head by cutting off the head of a stranded shark, usually found at the Yacht or other beaches. [link] ; [link]
The Crocodile can be found in the middle of the “Snow” Island near Huts. Kill it, Skin it and take its head or just cut off the head instantly but you won’t get it’s lizard skins and meat anymore. (Except Devs fix that the body disappears when instantly decapitating) [link] ; [link] ; [link] ; [link]
Deers can be found commonly in the Snow area but also Forest area. Kill them, Skin them and then you can take their head. [link]
Boars are found commonly on the left side of the “Snow” Island, you usually find them near a camp with a river going through. Again, kill, skin, take head. [link]
Raccoons are quite slow and are an easy target commonly found in snow and forest areas. [link]
Turtles are usually around the water between the sinkhole and the “Snow” Island. [link] ; [link]
Seagulls are found at the beach or Islands. [link]
Lizards are found mainly at the start Island. You surely already encountered one trying to find animals of this list. [link]
Geese are probably the hardest to get. My trick is to build a platform beneath a lake and then hunting them while flying down. From my experience, they don’t always drop a head. May the luck be on your side! [link] ; [link]
Squirrels are found in Snow and Forest area. Good to catch with Animal Trap. [link]
Rabbits same as Squirrel, they can be found mainly at the Main Island and some snow white rabbits in the snow area. Animal Trap recommended. [link]
