Overview
Ever had trouble getting rid of a giant firefly above your house? Or perhapes weeding out some pesky demons? If you do, thats great, because I can tell you all about how to get rid of ’em. If not, then I don’t really care as long as you LIKE AND SHARE. I HOPE MY SUGGESTIONS ARE POSSIBLE.
Introduction To Genocide
This guide is mainly for the people that have tried to play on brutal difficulty, and got several internal organs eaten by weird orange wolf creatures. Repeat: Mostly for brutal mode. And you may have noticed “oh, I can’t run over and shoot this demon with a sniper rifle because he burns me to death three picoseconds after I see him.” Yea, brutal is brutal, but I know some cheap tricks that will turn bosses into cheese. (not literaly. That would be weird if I actualy turned them into blocks of cheese you had to kill)
Note: Spam quicksaves, and you will survive. Every single time you try to kill a mob and you want to get a drop, quicksave, and keep killing it untill it drops what you want. Save scumming is love. Save Scumming is life.
Firefly Queen Dethronage
Is “Dethronage” a word? I dont know, but I’l keep it in the title anyway. So, If your wondering why I didn’t put the Mad Crab before this, its because he is way easier to kill with the jetpack on brutal mode. So, getting to the point, your going to need
- 18 Composite wall
- 6 Advanced auto-repair turrets
- 6 Solar panels
- Some wire
- 6 Heavy turrets
- Your standard miniaturizor
Now that you have this, find the exact area where the Queen Firefly spawns and make sure you drill up from under the island. Set up the 6 solar panels nearby but make sure they cannot be destroyed. Then, you want to make somthing like this within the range of the Firefly queen.
After you’ve done that, summon the Queen, get inside, and heal anything that gets damaged with your miniaturizor. If all goes well, you should be able to let your turrets kill her in a good 1-2 min.
P.S. You can find the Queen Firefly in the highest of skyislands, If you didn’t know.
P.P.S. The hole at the top of the unit was created by the Queen. You don’t need to bother making that yourself.
Mad Crab Becomes Madder
Introduction bla bla bla here is what you need.
- Gattling laser
- ZF-0
- Shotgun
- Jetpack
- Ant armor (recomended)
- Some potions (recomended)
Now, for Mr. Crabby, you want to make sure you havent put any turrets down in the vicinity. The more turrets, the more bats that spawn when he screeches. Make sure you have at least half a day left before night time, for this is going to take a while. Then, find where the crab spawns, quicksave, and make sure you have everything equiped.
So, for the actual game plan, all you want to do is to mow down the bats with the gattling laser, use the shotgun to move around more efficiently with the jetpack, and whenever possible, smack the crab with the ZF-0. The ZF-0 works because its armor piercing, so in all it does more damage then the gattling laser. After a few min, you should have roast crab sitting at your feet. Also, use the potions. reaaaaaly remember to use potions.
P.S. You find the Mad Crab in the underground lake biome, far to the west.
Dweller Lord The Joke
The Dweller Lord is by far the easiest of the bosses when you have the correct items. Those Items being:
- A boatload of platforms
- Overcharged Plasma Gun
Yep, thats all you really need. After you get these items, you’re going to want to enter the lords lair. Its in the middle of a damp and dank cave in the mountain. Enter in from the top entrance, and place platforms below yourself and use them to go down into the mountain. Keep going down until you find a big chamber. You should autosave at this point, because if you get too close to the floor, the big guy will abruptly start trying to kill you. Keep using platforms to go down untill you can see him. He shoots a huge projectile that will one shot you if your in brutal mode, but is easy to dodge. After you can see him, start shooting with the Plasma gun, and you can have some cooked (please insert cave dwelling species here) with BBQ sauce soon after.
Note: Don’t go to far down, because then his little minions will swarm you.
