Legendary Bounty Etta Doyle

Disclaimer: Legendary Bounties have a replay cooldown of 48 minutes.

Etta Doyle is one of a few Legendary Bounties that pay better than the rest, but is also the easiest bounty in the game to collect.

This is a guide on how to make a profit capturing Etta with almost no effort at all.

• Bounty Hunter License

• Lasso

• 6 minutes (30 for max pay)

• Bounty Wagon

• Stopwatch/Timer

Legendary Bounties award their maximum payout if completed 30 or more minutes after the mission start. Payouts increase with difficulty and when completed with posse members.

Step 1. Hide in the Tunnel (Observe Etta’s Gang)

Once you gain control of your character you can begin timing the mission.

Head to the large tunnel entrance directly ahead and hide yourself within.

Wait for Etta’s gang to arrive.

Step 2. Wait in Ambush

Originally there will be four targets (women dressed as Etta).

As they search the yard the impostors will identify themselves until there is only one remaining target.

This will occur about 4 minutes into the mission and will be highlighted by a change in background music.

Shortly after, at around 4 1/2 minutes, Etta will realize it is a setup and instruct her girls to flee.

When they respond, usually saying something like, “lets go boss,” or “time to go,” that is your queue to spring into action.

Etta will be making her way right past the tunnel entrance so just run out and hogtie her quickly.

At this time one or two enemies may fire a single shot at you but otherwise they will all remain non-hostile and ignore you as you tie up your bounty.

Step 3. Take Etta to Jail

Call your horse and stow Etta, then head east out of the train yard.

Make a left at the stables ahead instead of following the minimap directions.

Avoid entering the drop-off location with Etta for 30 minutes to maximize payout.

The immediate area surrounding the drop-off as well as the northern part of town around the tailor are safe and will prevent enemy spawns.

Etta can break free of bindings so if you do not have access to a bounty wagon you can turn in the bounty immediately or keep a close eye on her while running down the clock.

Step 4. Profit

Solo payout for 30 minutes at 5 star difficulty is $225.

• Call in the wagon and stuff Etta inside.

• Open your catalogue (prevents kick for idling).

• AFK.

• Now you have a reason to get one.
