How to get Items from the Caves
Step 1- Decide what item you wanna find
Step 2- Instead of Googling it, just run into any cave you find
Step 3- Tell yourself not to get scared of the bats
Step 4- Get scared of the bats
Step 5- Scream when you get jumpscared
Step 6- Cry
Step 7- Find item
When to Restart- Singleplayer
Once you’ve played on a world for at least an hour, you must quit, and start a new save, if any of the following things happen.
– You die before you save
– You eat poison berries
– Your game crashes
– You accidentally save over your first save file that you made when you first got the game
– You go AFK for three and a half hours and forget you were playing the game
– You forget to eat in real life
– You forget to eat in the game
– You forget to eat the game
– Steam servers crash and you get banned
– “You cannot carry any more rocks”
– A pack of starvelings violently murder you
– You fall in the sinkhole
– Your GPU gets fried
– Your base feels too big
– Your base feels too small
– You get stuck in the sinkhole with no way out
– Four grey armsies loom over the horizon near your base
– Your base gets partially destroyed and you save
– You get Sword Art Online’d and get stuck in the game and die in real life
All of the above are possible situations you may find yourself if you’re playing the game.
Please, if any of those things happen, restart your save!
When to Restart- Multiplayer
Yay gg you have friends
The Forest has MANY challenges, and most of them will make you wanna restart. These are some things that should make you restart your save.
– Your friend attacks you right as you leave the plane and you die
– Your friend opens all the suitcases before you spawn
– Your friend keeps tabbing out
– “Host not responding”
– The final boss bugs out and spawns twice since two players are fighting it
– Your friend abandons you in a cave
– Your friend pushes you off a boat and drives the boat away from you
– Your friend whines and complains for food every time they get a little hungry
– Your friend constantly takes food breaks
– Your friend dies in real life
– Your friend gets mad, goes to your house, kills you, and dies in the game
– You get downed and your friend runs away instead of reviving you
– Your friend lights 7 flares inside your base during the night
– Your friend “accidentally” smacks your bonfire when you’re up in the snowy mountains
– Your friend thinks the mutants are nice
If any of those things happen, quit, and restart your game.
