Hello! I’m here to show you how to get the achievement 8-Ball very easily. Like, in 8 moves easy. It takes advantage of the fact that seeded runs still award achievements. This still works as of 1.45, which means you cannot have the Amplified DLC installed. The Process
While you could blow up 8 enemies with other characters, it’s not as simple of a process. In addition, choosing this seed as a different character will not give the same room.
As you can still earn achievements in seeded runs, this map has just what we need to get in and out before you can even blink. This was done in the base game, and with Amplified, it gives different results altogether.
Or for those of you who need to be told what to do every step of the way…
Down, Right, Right, Right, Bomb (Down+Left), Left, Right, Wait.
If all goes according to plan (and two bats didn’t escape, which they tend to do sometimes), you’ll have blown up at least 8 bats, and maybe 9 if you’re super lucky. If not, just restart the seed. It’s not a difficult process.
Remember, this will not work with the Amplified DLC. You can disable the DLC in your Steam Library, or simply follow the guide written by Ephemeral instead.
