Generosity
You get this achievement by donating 1000 coins to the machine at the end of greed mode.
There are two efficient ways to do this.
1. Switching characters after donating 100 coins with them to keep their break chance low. This will also give you the achievements for beating greed mode with each character. If your primary goal is this achievement I would not recommend switching to the lost or ???.
2. Using the glowing hourglass to farm greed and the machine (after it blows up, use hourglass, beat greed, donate, etc.) You will need an item such as the battery or trickle charge to allow you to use the hourglass again. Note that with this method, once your break chance caps at 20%, the machine will break after the same number of coins each time you use the hourglass. This means with this method on average you will eventually only be able to donate 5 coins each time you beat greed.
Greed mode tips:
You can get all the shop items if you have a battery in the shop and d20 or the blank card and 2 of diamonds. Please note that this may cause your game to crash, most notably using the NO! trinket while doing this and by having a ridiculous number of lasers on the screen when firing. Also note that greeds health scales, so having every item in the game could still take you 30+ seconds to beat him.
With the d20, beat all the waves on a floor without picking up any coins, use the d20, open all the chest and don’t pick anything up, buy battery, use d20, open chests. You can repeat until the floor is covered in pickups essentially giving you infinite money if you continue.
With the blank card and 2 of diamonds, you can continuously put your money up to 99 by buying a battery and then doubling the amount. Once at 99 use the money to buy shop items, and save enough to get back up to 99.
