How to kill Mega Stan TWICE in a single run!

Overview

This guide will show YOU the average Afterbirth player how to kill Mega Satan twice in the same run!

The Item Setup.

Alrighty, so first of all you need to have Afterbirth, cause it requires the improvements for Sacrifice rooms. Now, you can only do this on the BASE MENT seed, so, sorry about achievement runs. First thing’s first, get to max health and have even more lying around on the floor. Doesnt matter if it’s Red Hearts or Soul Hearts, so the Jar is actually a pretty good way of doing this, but you also need Forget Me Now. This is Forget Me Now. It’s a standard Item room pool item, and is a usable item. It resets the floor you are currently on, and lets you complete it a second time. So if you used it on Basement 2, you’d do a second Basement 2.

What you gotta do.

Now, simply get yourself to 12 hearts of any kind with some spares lying around. Go to a Sacrifice room and use it until you’ve killed BOTH Angels. You should now have both of the key pieces, and 3 uses of the spikes after Gabriel-

You should get teleported to the Dark Room. When you get teleported you HAVE to be holding Forget Me Now, or else you can’t do this. Complete the floor or whatever, and then go fight Mega Stan. As Soon as you kill the skeleton form, and it starts falling apart into the void, use Forget Me Now. You should be teleported BACK to the Basement. In order to fight Mega Stan a second time, simply repeat the Sacrifice Rooms, and you should get both key pieces again. Then just go to the Dark Room and kill Mega Stan a second time.

Because of the way item pools work, you can’t get Forget me Now a second time, so you can only kill Mega Stan twice…. BUT, the ? Card/ Double Active Card COULD let you kill him multiple times, so long as you keep getting the card. I dont know cause when I figured this all out I was already an hour and a half into the BASE MENT seed.

Alright now have fun slaughtering Mega Stan!
