Interactive Map[www.octopathtravelmap.com]
Here’s an interactive map so you can plan your journey and locate all of the hidden sub class job shrines, towns and dungeons.
It also informs you how high the enemies levels are so you’re on the recommended level before entering dangerous areas.
Note: There are places missing on this map not shown and must be backtracked through, I will give you some general directions as to where they are. They count towards the Master of Orsterra achievement and must appear on the map for you to get credit towards the achievement.

Spread Sheet: All Information
Octopath Spreadsheet[docs.google.com]
This spreadsheet details in point form where to find all the weapons / armour / accessories in the game as well as the locations and solutions of all main / side quests in the game.
It shows all of the NPC’s you can battle in different towns using H’annit or Olberic and their potential drops, they drop some of the best gear in the game but the drop rates are abysmally low so be warned.
It also spoils all of the boss weaknesses in the game, including the final bosses. It also has detailed information of every Job’s special ability unlocks so you can plan which skills you’d like to unlock first.
The spread sheet is available for download.
An Ultimate resource.
Caution: There is a missible item called the Obsidian Armor, it’s the only item you can never acquire again if over looked. Make sure you bring Therion with you during Primroses Chapter 3 Boss fight and wait for the boss to spawn adds, the Obsidian Armor can be stolen off of them. It’s not a particularly good piece of armour but if you’re going for all the achievements, you must steal this equipment.
There’s also Mental / Physical Belts that can be stolen in Primroses campaign off of the adds during her Chapter 4, final boss. They also drop the belts after the fight is over but it’s not a guaranteed drop so it’s best to steal them. ~ Drop rate noted by: marcv666
All Treasure Chest Locations
Keep your eyes peeled and use this handy spread sheet to find every treasure chest. If you open all of them you’ll net yourself an achievement.

XP + JP Farming Tips[gameranx.com]
Essentially this article details how to obtain the double XP + JP accessories.
Only one person in your active party has to have them equipped and everyone will benefit.
You must completely finish Olberic and Ophelia’s Chapter 1 to 4 story line to obtain both of these accessories.

This will detail how to get some really good weapons early on in your adventure. The Golden Axe being one of the most powerful weapons until the late-mid game.
Best NPC’s to Allure & Guide.
Octopath Traveler has a very unique way to gather hired help through the class actions Allure [Primrose] and Guide [Ophelia]. Both of these characters can ask NPC’s to join them on their adventure so long as their character level is high enough. NPC’s are rated out of 10, this stat can be seen in game when Provoking/Challenging them with H’annit or Olberic or when trying to Guide or Allure with the aforementioned characters.
Here is a list of the best possible NPC’s in the game to take with you, which city to find them in and a detailed description of their in battle ability:

Full Monster Capture Spreadsheet
Here’s a full spreadsheet dedicated to H’annit mains who love capturing critters.
Monster Capture Spreadsheet[docs.google.com]
Note: Capturing different monsters is not worth the hassle until the very end of the game when you can capture Chubby Cait’s.
This monster’s ability [Supreme Luck of the Cait] makes your entire party impervious to ALL incoming damage for 3 full turns which is the most OP support ability in the game.
The Cait can be summoned 3 times per capture which means 9 turns of full party invincibility, which completely breaks the final boss battle.

Fighting Style Support Skills Suggestions [End Game Only]
This section will help you with a general understanding of how to maximize your damage at the end game. You shouldn’t use these skills together until you’re good and ready for a boss battle or the very final boss of the game.
Feel free to use other abilities that will help you along the way like Evasive Maneuvers, Snatch, Hale & Hearty…etc. The skills listed are merely the end game damage booster builds that help maximize your characters damage when used in conjunction with in battle buffs / debuffs.
Anything denoted with an * can all be swapped in for each other depending if you’re going for more attack power or survivability.
*Fortitude [Warmaster]
*Saving Grace [Cleric]
*Encore [Dancer]
*Hang Tough [Merchant]

How to beat Managarmr Easily.
This will take a bit of know how and specific items to accomplish but this is one of the hardest fights in the game if you prolong his defeat. The quicker you dispatch this boss the better off you are. This is the fastest way I’ve seen him killed.
You’ll need the Double Tomahawk weapon equipped on someone to break his defence quickly. This weapon attacks twice for every single hit. If you boost someone to level 4 using your BP, you’ll attack 8 times with it. [Kind of like FF6’s Genji Glove + Offering / Bushido Scroll relics.]
Tressa will need to sub class Sorcerer and have some specific wind magic boosting weapons that only she can weld together.
Primeval Bow of Storm
Tradewinds Spear
Both these weapons increase Wind Damage and only Tressa can equip them both with her main job and Sorcerer subbed.
You’ll also need some heavy Sorcerer skills like Elemental Aid and Augmented Elements to reach the damage numbers in the video. There’s also a very rare accessory called Elemental Augmentor that gives you an extra 100 magic attack per equip, there are only 3 of these found/earned in the game.
Again this isn’t the only way to beat him, merely a suggestion. You won’t be able to set your party up like this until the end game any way. All characters chapters will have to be completed and you’ll be ready to go against the true final boss.
Cheat Engine Table
Crazy Cheat Engine Table that basically lets you edit everything in the game.
Octopath Cheat Engine Table[fearlessrevolution.com]
- XP, JP, Leaf [Currency] Modifiers & Multipliers
- Always Have Max HP, SP, BP
- Inventory Editor [Item Quantity & Item Replacement]
- NPC Follower Editor [Modify NPC Usage / Infinite Uses]
- H’annit Monster Editor [No Need to Capture / Modify Capture Uses / Infinite Uses]
- Path Action Mostly Succeeds [Has Level 99 Rate] [Ex: 100% chance to Steal, Scrutinize, Guide, Allure, Challenge, Provoke, Inquire, Purchase]
- No Random Battles
- 1 Hit Kill Enemies
- Enemies All Have 1 Shield
Note: This table tends to crash the game a lot when using the Enemies All Have 1 Shield Option so I recommend against using it, especially during the very final fight as that battle can last up to an hour. Keep it simple and use the XP boosters, infinite HP/SP/BP and modifiers if you’re having trouble with something.
ATTENTION: It’s been brought to my attention that the table link provided may or may not function properly anymore, unfortunately that’s how these things go. The programmers normally don’t keep tables updated after a game has basically become old news.
Here is a website that offers two other options including the CE table link I’ve provided as alternatives:
Alternative Trainers[vgtrainers.com]
I’m not sure if any of these other trainers work either, I’m just providing an alternative suggestion.
You could also try:
Cheat Happens Trainer[www.cheathappens.com]
But you need a paid subscription to use it. [I would recommend the lifetime sub honestly, it pays for itself after a year of using their website abundantly]
