Fnaf 3 Guide for Five Nights at Freddy's 3

Fnaf 3 Guide

Overview

Raging because of the phantoms and Springtrap? Or having minigame problems? Fret not, this guide will help you out and will be updated with new information on anything!

A quick note

This Guide uses images from the game that I took. If you don’t like spoilers then probably dont look at the pictures and scroll quickly down.

Springtrap

Springtrap is the main animatronic that is introduced in Night 2, as he is the only one that CAN kill you. He starts as close as Cam 6 to as far as Cam 10. He follows the layout of the map or sneaks into the vents, where you have to quickly seal up the vent part he is on before he gets out. This is also when the “Audio” button is in use as it can lead Springtrap away, but it plays in a one room radius (which means you have to go one room back from where he is. If he is in Cam 5, play the audio in Cam 8.)
He also has 2 jumpscares, the left side and right side.

>Left side jumpscare is caused when he is poking his head out the door and you look away then back or use the maintenance panel.

>Right side jumpscare is caused when he gets in via Vents or you are on the cameras for a little while when he is poking his head out the door.

poking head out of door

left jumpscare

right jumpscare

Phantom BB

Phantom BB is the first phantom you will encounter nights 2 and on. He will appear on any of the cameras with his face on the camera, then will make you close cameras and jumpscares you, killing the ventilation with his phantom powers.

To stop him from doing this, there are two ways:
1. quickly close the cameras.
2. quickly change the cameras to prevent the jumpscare.

Phantom Freddy

Phantom Freddy is one of the two phantoms that do not appear on cameras, the other being Phantom Foxy.
He walks across the front window of the office, which looks like he is dancing XD
If at any point he ducks down, brace for the jumpscare and ventilation cutting off.

-To stop him, just look at either the cameras or the maintenance panel. If you need to switch, do it extremely quickly to stop him from ducking down.

>You are safe when he has crossed the entire length of the window.

Phantom Foxy

Phantom Foxy is completely unpredictable. He can come as early as night 2. Like Phantom Freddy, he does not appear on the cameras, but goes straight into your room on the far left side on the box of toy animatronic parts.

>The only way to stop him from jumpscaring and cutting the ventilation off is to look away when you see his right arm.

sometimes he glitches and he just sits there until you go on the maintenance panel.

Phantom Chica

Phantom Chica is the phantom that looks the most unwithered, but comes with the price of having the title Watermelon.
She is active nights 2 and on, and is on Cam 7 inside the arcade machine. Same with Phantom BB, she can be ignored by changing cameras quickly or clicking off of cameras.

Phantom Mangle

Phantom Mangle is the only phantom that will not jumpscare you; and is one of two phantoms that will not cut off the ventilation, the other being Phantom Marionette.
He/She is found on Cam (3, 4, or 5…never seened the cam #)
Like Phantom BB and Phantom Chica and Phantom Marionette, you have to either quickly click off the camera or quickly switch to a different camera.
When Phantom Mangle comes, she pokes the top of her head out the window and makes a loud radio garble noise, screwing up either the cameras or audio.

Note: she is apparently an Easter Egg

Phantom Marionette

Phantom Marionette can be seen on Cam 8 standing where Springtrap is. You have to either click off the camera or switch cameras quickly to stop him from coming.
When it attacks, it goes up to your face, makes lights flicker, and makes you unable to use anything. So yeah…try to never have it come to you.

The annoying one:

Minigame – BB’s Air Adventure

BB’s Air Adventure is the only minigame you are able to play in ALL of the nights. To start the minigame, go to Cam 8 and click the drawing of Balloon Boy, then you will hit the start of the Minigame.
You take the role of Balloon Boy and you collect balloons. If you notice once you collect all of the balloons, your missing one. This leads towards the cake ending once you are on Night 2, but it leads to the last balloon in Night 1. To get both of these endings, go onto the far left platform that is over the exit and jump out the wall, then you will fall.

>Once you beat Mangle’s Quest with the Cake Ending, you will see platforms of red balloons. Jump from balloon to balloon until you get to solid ground, where you will see a crying child. Go up to him and the cake will appear, making him stop crying and then the night restarts.

>If you did NOT do Mangle’s Quest with the cake ending, you will hit the ground and then you will find the last balloon. Jump through the wall and climb up to the balloon, which is changing colors.
You have to do this ending to be able to do the Cake Ending in all of the other minigames.

Final Balloon(I screwed up on the cake ending for this one and this happened XD)

Minigame – Mangle’s Quest

Mangle’s Quest is a minigame you can only play on Night 2. To start the minigame, go to Cam 7 and click the 4 small buttons on the arcade in this order:
1. Top Left
2. Bottom Left
3. Top Right
4. Bottom Right

In this minigame you play as Mangle, and you have to collect your parts. There is 4 total, but once you go to the next room, there is a kid running around. Touching this kid will end the minigame…as well as basically unassemble Mangle.
Once you collect all of the pieces the exit will appear, but go to the platform above the exit and jump out the wall and this will lead to the Cake Ending.

>If you already played BB’s Air Adventure, go left and climb all of the balloons, then collect the cake. This will end the minigame and then go back to BB’s Air Adventure and do that Cake Ending on that minigame.
>If you didn’t play BB’s Air Adventure or didn’t collect the final balloon, go to the far left and go out the exit.

Start

Touching the kid (look closely)

Cake Ending:

Minigame – Chica’s Party

This minigame is playable in Night 3 only. To start the minigame, find the phantom cupcakes that are either in your office or random places in the cameras. There is 5 in total.

You take the role of Toy Chica and you must deliver cupcakes to the children, but you ignore that for the cake ending. Two cupcakes are on the right side on floor 1 and 2. For the Cake Ending. drop down the the second floor and go on the platform that is against the wall, then jump while moving towards the wall to find a secret area.

>If you played BB’s Air Adventure and got the Cake Ending and played Mangle’s Quest and got the cake, you will see two balloons that lead up to the platform with the crying child. Go up to him and give him the cake, and then you have now 3 (not including the child that you play on Happiest Day) to go!

>If you didn’t get the last balloon or get the cake, keep going fowards and you will fall to a different area, where you can exit.(you also will have a cupcake following you :3)

Alternative Exit(if you tried for Cake Ending but didn’t meet criteria):

Minigame – Stage01

This minigame is playable on Night 4, but hard to start. If you looked around on the night 3 minigame, going down when you hit “Pirate’s Cove”, you would’ve found random numbers, but they have a meaning.
Don’t open you cameras but start clicking on the blocks in the office under the window between the box of toy animatronic parts and trash can. There are 9 that you can click, and arranged as if it was on a phone, but not including the number 0.
Put then in the number: 395248

Just try to catch my drift with this…it’s hard to explain…
You take the role of Fredbear and you are on stage. Jump off the stage and let the kids catch you, but…you glitch out of the area! Go all the way to the bottom and to the far right until you see the exit.

Here comes the confusing part…(Bold means difficult)
Now follow the steps precisely (you had to of gotten the cake endings from the other minigames):
1. Jump against the left wall on this particular stage and you will glitch to the top
2. Now jump as you go left and climb onto the next stage
3. start jumping around on the right side until you glitch into the next stage
4. go to the children and climb the wall behind them
5. repeat step 4 but clilmb the wall behind Spring Bonnie
6. go to the far right and jump to cross into an empty room with the crying child
7. Go to child and give cake

If you didn’t beat the other minigames, don’t follow the steps for the Cake Ending…just go to the exit.

Minigame – The Shadow Bonnie Minigame XD

This minigame is one of 2 you can play on Night 5, the other being Happiest Day
To start the minigame look at the desk for Shadow Bonnie (will be refered as RXQ) and click around on his left ear.
The controls are the same, but with a twist…you can fly.
This is also difficult, so follow the instructions i give if you gotten the other cake endings.(not Happiest Day):
>Hitting W will make you fly and hitting S will change settings to a different minigame

1. hit S until you reach the setting of BB’s Air Adventure
2. Jump out of the wall on the area of the wall where there is the platform against it
3. hit S until you reach a purple room with the crying child in the corner, now you can reach him!
4. give the cake to him

If you didn’t beat the other minigames with the Cake Ending, just fly to the exit in the start of it.

Cake Ending

Minigame – Happiest Day

This minigame is only playable on Night 5, as well as the Shadow Bonnie minigame.
To start this minigame go to Cam 3 and click the picture of the Marionette.
It’s extremely easy to play, but only play when you beaten ALL of the other minigames with the Cake Ending.

Now cross the entire place to the final Crying Child and give him cake. Before you do though, if you gotten all of the cake endings, you will see the ones you have given cake to wearing the masks of Bonnie, Chica, Freddy, and Foxy (The one with the puppet mask is also one of them).

Once you have given the final cake, the Crying Child will wear the Golden Freddy/Fredbear mask.
Then, they disappear with their masks floating to the ground (as well as the one on the kid you played as) and the balloons above float away.
Then the minigame ends and you are brought to the title screen, unlocking your first star.

The star means you have gotten the Good Ending, as you set the children free.
