An average player’s guide to 2500+ No Luca No Survival mode on a laptop

Overview

This guide shows you how to exploit the No Luca No survival mode when playing on a laptop

Introduction

This guide describes how to ”exploit” the hardware capabilities of your laptop for the No Luca No Survival mode.
This guide works with the assumption that you have a mouse plugged in your laptop, and that your laptop has a touchpad.

First some info about the No Luca No survival mode:
Unarguably the most annoying survival mode i have ever played in any game so far, its difficulty consists of a ”cat” blocking half the screen view, unless you move your mouse to ”chase it away”.

If you are wondering why that makes it difficult, it’s because at higher speeds having to move your mouse in a direction while simultaneously having to press the mouse buttons in multiple non-periodically repeating combinations forces you to make many mistakes and eventually reach 0 health. At least it happened to me a lot. Also because at higher speeds the cat appears more often.

But first here is some proof that it works

The exploit

What i realised as i was moving the mouse and pressing buttons, while stuck between 500 and 1000 kills, was that i could use the laptop’s touchpad with my other hand to move the cursor without having to move the mouse.

The other thing i figured out was that i didn’t need to wait till the cat appears on screen to chase it away but that by constantly moving the mouse cursor i could make it so the cat barely even appeared on the screen.

The first time i tried that i immediately reached 1870 kills. Pretty effective.

The score displayed on the screenshot above is my 2nd try with the exploit.

The most effective touchpad movement for me was not horizontal or vertical as it was stressing my hand by constantly moving a finger on the touchpad, but a diagonal upper left to lower right, back to upper left and so on, using my left hand and alternating between index and middle finger to relieve the muscle stress.

Using this ”technique” however might cause you some muscle pain so be careful please. It will also cause you to become very popular with the ladies, if you know what i mean 😀

Trying to cheat

This isn’t really part of the guide, just something i tried in order to achieve an even greater score. It didn’t work but some tech-savvy person reading this might know how to make it happen.
If so, please inform me so i can update this guide and add you as a contributor.

I tried to use a program to simulate mouse cursor movement while playing in No Luca No mode, so i wouldn’t have to use my left hand to continually rub the touchpad and chase away the cat. The program i used was Move Mouse, but unfortunately it didn’t work, as i needed continuous cursor movement not at intervals.
Then i used a mouse recorder program i found in a forum after an internet search, and was able to record mouse movement and play it on loop. Again, unfortunately, it didn’t work because the game would pause and display the message: the game is out of focus, please select the game to continue playing. I tried using Always on Top program to make the game always selected but that didn’t work so i gave up. If anyone knows how to achieve this please let me know.

Conclusion

Hopefully this guide will help you achieve better scores in No Luca No mode. If you are a better than average player you most likely didn’t need this but if it helped you that’s even better.

Thank you for reading this guide, please rate it and have fun playing the game.
