Fixing loading errors

Overview

This guide helps you fixing the error at loading or the game crashing while you load it.

Downloading d3d9 fix

For some reason, this works sometimes. For me it worked temporary. You have to download it at Nexus mods.

Steps:

• Go to Nexus mods
• Download the d3d9 fix
• Go to your Fallout New Vegas folder
• Put the fix file right there
• Launch the game

be sure to download the top file
just drop it in there

Launch your launcher and game in administrator mode

I fixed the error with putting my launcher and game in administrator mode. To do this you need to go to your Fallout New Vegas folder and left click on the launcher and then properties. Then launch as administrator.
be sure to put both your launcher AND your game in administrator mode, or the game won’t launch at all!
