Pheasant Flight Lessons for Meadow

Pheasant Flight Lessons

Overview

Sometimes the pheasant can be a little hard to control when in flight.

Intro

Some may say that the pheasant is the easiest to fly but when you start using it things take a different turn.

This is a guide to help with the wonderful pheasant, so you can land on small surfaces, slow down and avoid crashing into the ground.

Crashing and how to stop it.

Everyone done this at list once or twice with the pheasant. You flew to high and ended up screeching and tumbling to the ground. From testing I learned that it is the height that causes the game to make you fall, however you can easily fix this by making sure your pheasant doesn’t come more then 2 and a half goat heights(Goats on top of each other) off the ground. By using mountains and flying at an angle you can fly forever pretty much until you fly off the mountain, bushes do the same, so you can just aim your pheasant to fly over the bushes to get the best flying expereise(Sorry the word escaped my mind).

Most of all avoid flying off of mountains and plan your flight.

A Need For Speed

Everyone knows that the pheasant is quick. Expecting that it’s the fastest animal in Meadow next to the eagle of course. This is not the case from what I learned, the rabbit still holds top runner but its only faster then the pheasant by a hair.
The pheasant has other tricks up it’s wing however. It gets up to speed faster then any animal(The eagle’s dive is still faster) well the rabbit needs to build up speed first. To go faster instead of running first then flying do this.

Press the R key or whatever you have set as the auto run

Touch the spacebar(Jump Key) and the W(Move forwards key) but don’t press yet

Then push the W and the spacebar at the same time and well you see it, it appears you have took into the sky from a stand still.

Now you have made it to the full pheasant speed without running.

Bonus Fact: The pheasant runs(not flies) at a little over the badger cub’s speed when running, so fly as often as you can.

Landing on the smallest surfaces without missing them or falling short

This happened to all of us, you tried landing on a bush or whatever, only to find yourself face planting it or flying over it. Well your in luck, I get the perfect tip for you.

Take off

Fly towards the bush and just when your beak is above the object you wanna land on press R(to disable auto run) or let go of shift(to disable running) and your pheasant is slowing down at a huge rate.

Then just land on the object and your done!

You could also let go of the movement keys to cancel even more speed.

Even with that, you will sometimes end up almost falling or being at the edge so to pervent that simply press spacebar to cancel flight.

Recap

Now you are a better pheasant pliot :). Feel free to use this tips for roleplay or just normal essece hunting or just exploring.

This is my first guide.
