Overview
There are several upgrades in Liberation day that are dependent on your decisions in MoA, this guide will help you get all of them.
Basics
First of all, the only way to get all the upgrades is to play Mask of Arcadius, create the special save, and then import the game into Liberation Day. Otherwise there are several upgrades that are mutually exclusive if you try to just select your decisions at the beginning of Liberation Day. If you’ve already finished MoA and don’t feel like going through all of it again you can enable the console and then just use Shift+p to skip all the battles. See a simple guide here[steamah.com]. Those are instructions for Liberation Day, but MoA is the same. Basically, config.developer = True in the Options.rpy file. Sometimes the existing line may say config.developer = “Auto”, but again, it just needs to be changed to True. I’ve tried to keep the spoilers to a minimum, but there are a few minor ones. Ongessite upgrades, saving Cosette, selling the Wishall
Normally you can only get 2 out of these 3 upgrades if you’re choosing decisions at the beginning of Liberation Day
Reduces the energy costs of movement. Very useful on last mission. Can only be obtained by choosing to NOT go to the press about the civilian casualties.
She will fight with you on the last mission if you spare her and choose to restore the Havoc. To spare her requires you to have +2 with Cosette (or use the Wishall), which requires you to go to the press if you’re not importing from MoA.
Will give you 10,000 credits, very handy. Requires you to not use the Wishall in MoA, and also not use it to save Cosette.
Chapter 7
“Alright… There’s too much at stake here. I trust you will… handle this situation, Admiral.” – For the Ongessite Upgrades.
Chapter 8
“Cosette’s just fighting to protect her own people. She’s not as bad as you think, Asaga.” +1 Cosette
“Admiral, stop this madness!” +1 Cosette
Extra Versta Mission & Phoenix Cloaking
Technically it’s possible to get both of these even if you don’t import a game, but you won’t be able to get the cloaking until much later, and it’s probably one of the most helpful upgrades in the game.
Gives a nice bonus to credits & intel. Requires you to save the children and not let the Agamemnon be destroyed in MoA.
Allows Icari to go on a rampage through enemy lines destroying their ryders. Icari can take out 1-2 Nightmare’s by herself on the Falcon mission with this upgrade. Requires +5 with Icari (which you get by allowing the Agamemnon to be destroyed in the starting decisions).
Chapter 2
“All right, you’ve made your point. I’ll let you out of your cell, but you’ll be confined to quarters for now while we perform our own investigation.” +1 Icari
“All right. I believe you. Let’s work together.” +3 Icari
“Put me through to them.”
“COMMAND DECISION: Cancel warp. We’re going to escort the Agamemnon out of
here!” – Saves the Agamemnon for the extra Versta mission.
Your final point with Icari can be gained in Liberation Day when you choose to restore the Havok.
