Overview
This guide will help you get into The Aurora, which is something that many people are affraid of doing because of the dreaded Reaper Leviatahans that are near the Aurora. I will go over what materials are required and how to get into the Aurora to repair the engine that is leaking deadly radiation into the surrounding area.
What you will need
In order to get to the Aurora and access all its areas you will need the following items.
1.) Scanner: There will be several items including th PRAWN suit you will want to obtain the plans for while inside the Aurora.
2.) Repair tool. This tool is essential for accessing certain areas of the Aurora
3.) Laster Cutter. While not specicially needed for the story related items inside the Aurora, it does give you access to additional areas that contain items, blueprints or other items of a decorative value.Scanner
4.) Upgraded O2 tank. You should at least have the first O2 tank upgrade if you are making your first ever trip to the Aurora. Seasoned players repeating the journey may not need it.
5.) The Seamoth. The Seamoth is your mode of transportation.
Optional Tools: Propulsion Cannon- The propulsion cannon is purely optional. One of the entrances can be jumped into as can other areas inside the Aurora where the propulsion cannojn would normally be used to clear away objects and debris.
Getting Inside the Aurora.
Use your Seamoth and head to the front end of the Aurora. Stay as close to the waters surface as possible and stay close to the hull of the Aurora. Slip into the first opening you see and find one of the 2 platforms.
Once you find a parking spot, watch the following video.
Face your Fear, Conquer it!
We have all been killed by the Reaper in our travels!! But trust me!!! The Reaper used to be much MUCH WORSE!! This is what used to happen when the Reaper was ridiculously bad during Early Access!! They would literally chase you across the whole MAP and stay in the Safe Shallows!! Now THAT was scary!!
Here is what happened to be when a Reaper followed me home in the middle of a broadcast!! This was probably the MOST terrifying momeny I had ever experienced!! He stealth killed me!! There was absolutely NO sound as he approached!!
So, just be glad he is not as bad as THAT today!! XD
