A brief description of warp gate locations
Surface
There is a gate from the mountain cave to the floating island. Activated from the mountain side.
From the flooded research lab
There is a gate in the flooded lab just past the lost river. It is in a room unlockable with a purple tablet. Activating the gate connects to the basement of the Quarantine Laser.
From the final containment facility
When you get to the final alien facility (unlocked with a blue tablet), there are four warp gates out of the main room. coming up the ramp, you are facing southeast toward the moon pool with the Sea Emperor in it. the four gate rooms are each in a cardinal direction. Each gate connects to a submerged sanctuary in a different biome.
N-a cave in the bulb zone north of the aurora. opens near the fumarole.
E-the deep trench in the mushroom forest
S-the lost river, behind an acid waterfall, on the right. found on the branch of the river that comes down from the northern haunted biome.
W-on the far south of the map, on the steep grand reef. this “sanctuary” is infested with bone sharks, some of whom can clip into the sanctuary “swim” in the air and bite you. watch out!
