Overview
The Unreal 4 engine, which Apex Aim Trainer is based on, doesn’t originally support DualShock4 for some reason. But somehow, you can still use it. There are many remapping tools like DS4Windows, DS4Tools, etc., but the easiest way is to use the built-in Controller Configurator in Steam.
How to use a PS4 controller
Step 1. Find “GENERAL CONTROLLER SETTINGS”
Step 2. Enable “Playstation Configuration Support”
Step 3. Go to the library and find “Apex Aim Trainer” , then click “Controller Configuration”
Step 4. Import this configuration, which just a default key mapping but with no deadzones for left and right joysticks.
Step 5. Play the game and enjoy
