Thing you should know first.
There is 2 ways to get licence.
First is buy fake licence in Outpost
Second is Having a crew member in your team.
First way is for a players, who is moslty adventure planets and have a lot of pixels (Game’s currency) And dont have any interest building stuff and making settlements
Second way is for a players, who is prefer building, digging and making settlements, rather that fighting.
First way: Buying the Licence.
So. This is a way, if you prefer adventuring, rather than building.
You can buy licence in outpost, The penguin bay if specific. it would be closed, until you defeat second boss That big spider
But it cost really expensive, and got tons of pixel. go for it. First upgrade cost 10.000 pixels, Second 20.000 and ect
After buying a licence, a side quest will add to journal, saying to upgrade, you need to bring 2 upgrade module.
Procced to “Upgrading ship” section
Second way: Getting crew!
To get the crew member, you need settlement.
But im gonna tell only main info, how to build one.
First thing, you need to buy a collony Deed From “Frogg furnishing”
If its closed, you need to procced to campaing, and kill the second boss
A giant spider
Its recommended to buy at least 2-3 of those deed’s.
Now to the building.
Every deed require a “House”
House must contain at least door and torch (possibly, its not matter, how big or small room can be)
Teleport is recommended to build on planet, wich is located your settlement.
The results should look like this:
Time to time, some settlers will have a quests, some small, some big.
Completing several quest from 1 settler will make him ask you to join your crew.
You can either say accept, or refuse.
After getting 2 crew members, SAIL will add side quest, about upgrading ship.
Upgrading ship
So you got a side quest, bring it 2 upgrades modules
Bring them To a Penguin Pete (He is located betwen the outpost and ruins). finish the quest, little cutscene will play, and you are ready to go.
Now your ship will look like that:
NOTE: The new room is gonna be empty and will not be painted, And this is a Novakid ship. Driffrent races got driffrent upgrades, but all upgrades add room
