Overview
Here is a guide to a Good sturdy build of mine that has served me well. The Inspiration for this build is from a bot Created By Tommyfoxy2 known as the Dreadnaught Series. This is The Mark 1 of my own Juggernaut Series and more will come. Different variations of this bot that will have different strengths and weaknesses. I appreciate feedback on both the bot and the guide its self so dont forget to rate it. If you make this bot and find a way to improve it i would love to see what you have done. Note that this particular series is very cpu heave and Block count intensive. This is due to keeping durability above all else. The Juggernaut series hass massive amounts of Health due to the high block count to make up for the lack of Electroplates. Have fun and Happy Tower Taking!
What you need
Starting Out
Here We have our first step. The starting chassis. The white cubes are already placed blocks. The Brown are for the next step of blocks to be placed. To make things easier to follow.
Here We begin placing the next layer on top of our chassis. Note that majority of the bot is solid cubes. This is because its designed to take a beating so the Solid cubes are use due to them being the only ones that retain 100% of their health.
Here you need to add these Prisms
Time for the next layer. Again. Brown Blocks are Solid Cubes. The Glass represents Prisms
Moving Along
This is the Final top layer that we will Place.
Now staring on the Bottom. We are going to give our precious hovers some protection.
Next on the Side we will place the prisms like so and another protective layer. Once youve placed the blocks while were at it throw a T10 THruster in that nice little cubby Hole. (I like to use the Carbon thruster myself.
This next layer serves as another layer of side protection as well as a nice clear spot to place a weapon.
Moving on to the back dead center we place these solid cubes
Here we want to make a nice angle design on both the top and the bottom of the platform you just made.
Next we need to delete a few blocks. Indicated by the red blocks, you want to delete block going back 4 deep.
Once you have deleted the nessasary blocks, place 2 prisms indicated by the glass blocks. The a T10 Hover and close it up with 2 more Prisms.
Final Steps (Finally)
These are weapon placement ideas as well as the thrusters. These placements have worked well for me.
And there you have it. The Mark 1 of the Juggernaut Series. Hope you enjoy. More to come soon!
Optional Alteration
If you are not comfortable with the Juggernaut being so nose heavy here is a quick solution. It takes away 1 redundant gun but adds lift power to the nose.
First take away these 12 blocks indicated in red. Then add the 4 Prisms plus the T10 Hover
Now simply Cover it up with 4 Solids and 10 Prisms and replace your T10 Weapon. and your done!
Now you have more Hover power to your nose increasing its forward stability.
