P-51 Mustang Bomber Model!

Overview

Enough with those plasma bombers that don’t have style. Let’s build something with some style, without sacrificing performance! This is a plasma bomber, although it can be a fighter (Not Reccomended), and it costs around 72k, which is pretty good for a T5 Plasma bomber of this size.

Materials Needed

Materials Needed:
628 CPU Required, if you add a T5 gun on the top. It may be more if you have many T4/below. If you are good with flyers, you can add T-5 electroplates (I have done this). This adds alot of CPU, but by T5 you should have alot of room anyway.
About 60 Prisms (Sorry for lack of specificity)
About 50-60 Blocks
About 15 Inners
About 15 Tetras
4 Aerofoils (T5)
3 Rudders (T5)
4 T5 Thrusters
Plasma Cannons
({<NOTE: These can be scaled depending on level. Lots of T4 works great, but less High tier is great too>})
Radar Jammer
Radar Reciever

Structure

So to begin, this bot is 17 Blocks long, and fully symmetrical.
The front is a snub nose, so the prisms move inward and converge at 1 block. There are tetras in place to fill in underneath and above the prisms

Once you have built the nose, it’s time for the prop. The Propeller has one armor block and then the prisms stem off like so:
Now, continue the Pattern of the side, and put your thrusters on the side of the plane. The First set of wings will be Just out of range of the Thrusters, So if it doesn’t fit, or leaves space, it’s not right.
Keep continuing the pattern down the side, until the total length of your plane is 9 blocks (INCLUDES PROPELLER)

This is where it gets tricky. Imagine, before you do this, that you move the plane up one block, for the rest of the plane, so that the bottom prisms are at the middle blocks. That’s what you do! It’s actually simple. End the front of the plane at the point that you see it move up, and then just start building the bottom on the middle block.

From here, put a prism at the point of transition in the center bottom, and then put inners around it in the fashion that you see
Once you’ve done that, continue the basic pattern of the rest of the plane for 5 Blocks. Now, just build the glass in this fashion

Once you’ve done that, put a hole in the plane, where the glass block is in front of. This hole should go down to the bottom part, and this is where you place your pilot. Easy peasy.

Now, the Tail. This part is rather easy, as all you do is this:
Now, we are almost done. On the bottom, the plane should look like this, and you can put the plasmas in whatever way you wish. Also, the Electroplates go under the wings, so you must take out 2 prisms, in order to place it correctly. This plane is symmetrical, so everything on 1 side is the same on the other.

Also, on the top inner in the transition part (In the middle of the plane) There should be a rudder on either side. And, there should be a thruster next to the pilot seat on the sides.

Play Style and Looking Cool

This Bomber is extremely effective in combat, as long as you stay away from those pesky SMG gunbeds! This is T5, so there are an abundance of rail tanks and medics, which are easy pickings. The rail tanks will kill you if you don’t kill them, so those are primary targets. Also, the HVT (High Value Target) is the medic. A medic will give your boys hell out there, and will help the enemy team greatly. They, however, can’t target a good bomber, due to lack of range. Since this is not a dive bomber, you don’t have to even get close, which works to your advantage. This is a pretty fast plane, although it won’t beat a smaller jet-style bomber in a race, so remember to use cover, and stay to the edges untli the SMG’s are gone. Also, for Jet combat, I highly reccomend 1 top plasma turret, to be able to target planes attacking from above without those awkward moves that most people do in dogfights. Please like, and I hope you have fun with your new P-51 Mustang Bomber!

Honest Plane Rate

Maneuverability- 8/10 (Dives, Climb, reaction speed)
Tricks- 4/10 (Flips/Rolls)
Firepower- 7/10 (It only has 3 weapon slots if you have T6 Plasmas)
Hitpoints- 6/10 (It can be upgraded, although if you stick to the base design, it has minimal armor)
Speed- 8/10 (Yes, this is not a greatly fast plane, however, in the bomber class, it is fairly fast)
Aestetics- 10/10 (This thing looks badass)
Overall Practicality:
7-8/10
The reason I gave a range is because it can vary depending on the playstyle/Weapons/armor you use. I found a way to make it more dogfight effective *Read Playstyle*, and also faster, at the cost of firepower.
