Overview
This going to be a (Moderately) brief guide on how to build better bots in Robocraft…
General Guidelines (GG)!
– Never leave ground movement items (Except wheels, Mech legs and Insect legs) exposed, always hide with chassis cubes/rods.
– In higher CPU Rankings Always, ALWAYS Triforce your weapons.
– Never leave any, ANY modules on show to the Enemy.
– For lower Robot Rankings, don’t bother with Triforcing, Blockspam is the way to go.
– Unless you haven’t unlocked it yet, it is generally a good idea to have at least 1 Nanotech Disrupter on a Robot.
– Never, NEVER, connect parts of you robot with a lin of blocks 1 block thin.
– Always add thrusters to a hover. A slow hover = A QUICK DEATH/DEATHS
– Never add thrusters to Tanks, they don’t work because the tracks are too heavy.
– I find that Aeroflak on Insect Legs, a hover, or a Flyer generally doesn’t go so well…
– Never use Rail Cannons on a Plane.
– If you’re making a RailCopter, have at least 6 rotor blades.
– Always connect all of the connections points on a Tank Track.
Please note, I have 701 hours in-game, so it makes sense to listen if you’re new to the game.
Also, none of these are rules, they are just strategies which I have found useful in-game.
Thanks for playing reading!
Thank you so much for reading my guide, when I posted it I thought ‘What are you doing, you’ll probably get spammers in the chat swearing and stuff!’
