Overview

Just a quick guide for anybody below level 10.

I. Getting Started

So as you should already know, by some miracle or another, the object of this game is to build tanks, starting with beginner items and slowly moving up through the tiers. There are many different ways to play, but I have developed a decent way to look at things.

When first starting the game, you are given 3 garage slots, accessed by pressing the (default) G key. The first full tank you get comes equipped with 4 SMG’s. This is a great tank to use as is, but some adjustments can be made to maximize effect.

First, you want to protect the driver seat and all the blocks around and under it. The seat does not have a hitbox, but is destroyed by shooting the block under it. Put your seat on a block with at least one block in each direction guarding the base block.

You should be able to at least survive a battle now. Use this version of the tank to collect tokens, until you have about 10-15. Once collected, start your tech tree, (default) T key, by upgrading to the first armor block, T2. Utilize these to replace the current blocks guarding the seat.

Upgrade to T2 Top Mount machine guns now, as they are the most versatile weapon. Again, replace the current ones with the new ones. Once done with this, you may need to collect a few more tokens. Once enough tokens are stored, upgrade both steering and driving wheels, as these make your tank go faster, and slow down less with more weight.

While building, you may get a notification saying “Not Enough CPU.” This is normal, and is part of the game, not your PC. CPU is the total storage capacity for the amount of blocks you may use on your tank. CPU is increased by leveling up, which can be done easily. The tank you currently have should do well in battle, and you should use it to get to level 5-7. Keep upgrading armor, wheels, and SMG’s until you unlock Thrusters and Plasma Cannons. Thrusters are an easy way to help take off some weight from your tank, by giving extra Horsepower, and Plasma Cannons are a very devastating weapon.

Plasma Cannons, while effective, are more effective in groups. Unlike the SMG’s, and railguns, which have a max fire rate of 6 (6 per second. 6 guns), plasma cannons fire together, meaning the more cannons, the more damage per shot.

Utilize all these tips to create your own Perfect Strain of tank, and be ready for whatever comes your way! As I said, this is a beginner’s guide, so it is short. I hope this helped you, if so, you’re welcome, and if not, sorry. Leave a comment if anything is wrong with this guide, or if you have a contribution.
