Overview
This guide will give you tips on using the DSM
quick version
I’m gonna assume some of you are in the “edit robot” section eagerly waiting to use the DSM, so this is a fast version of what I’m gonna say below (in more detail).
type of bot to put it on (recommended): smg, nano, rail.
type of movement: tank, walker, hover, wheels, heli (pretty much everything).
extra tip: make sure that it (the DSM) is hidden from sight or it is protected HEAVILY, since they don’t have much health.
Detailed version
now we will look at the DSM in more detail.
-The dsm is a TEAM ONLY weapon. Thus making it pretty much useless in Pit, and Battle arena. But it is VERY helpful in TDM.
-BEWARE BAD PLACEMENT! one thing that can really ruin this weapon is when 2 people use it at the same time, then BOTH of them have to wait for it to reload, this is only a problem when they place it in the same area.
-protect those that need it. Scenario time! you are next to 3 people, your mega, a mech, and a medic, on your left you have the medic siting behind the mega healing him while he takes damage, but on the right the mech is taking LOTS of damage, do you place your shield on the mega, or the mech? answer mech, if your mega NEEDS that shield he will go behind it, but the mega can take more damage then the mech can, so the mech needs it more.
-the best thing you can do. Practice with it a little in single mode, THEN go to TDM.
