This is a multiplayer guide so it’s important to highlight that changing your FOV will make your sensitiity much lower.
Another important issue is that all dual rendering scopes will be smaller on your screen, this is allso very important

Getting the right tools
AgentRev from mapmodnews.com, released again new FOV changer for Call of Duty Ghosts, this one works both for singleplayer and multiplayer.

[link]This tool has been tested and works without any problems, Infinity ward itself confirmed that FOV changers are safe to use and they won’t ban you for it.
Adjusting your mouse sensitivity for your FOV
This is imporant! IW games translate your mouse sensitivity differently if you change your FOV. You don’t want that if you’re competitive or hardcore gamer.
To get exactly same sensitivity, use this handy website:
Choose Call of Duty 4: Modern warfare
Type in your ingame fov, default is 65
Type in your DPI (mine is 800)
Type in your sensitivity (I’m using 1.52)
Select second game, make it also Call of Duty 4: Modern warfare
keep the rest same, just type in your desired fov (I want to use 90°)
WPS is windows pointer precision, default is 6, you should never change your windows mouse sensitivity.
In the second box bellow will be shown new calculated sensitivity. Mine was calculated 0.967, but your will be different.

Dual rendering scope issues
Unfortunately, changing your FOV will make all dual rendering scopes smaller on the screen.
There’s nothing we can do about it right now, but it’s important that you’re aware if you’re competitive or hardcore gamer.
You can try changing your FOV to 75-80, difference in scope size won’t be this noticable.
