Overview
Basic tipps: if you aren’t retarded, then you will get out of plat following them. I have made masters and at least diamond in smite ranked since season1.( Notion: Haven’t played this ♥♥♥♥ in over a year, tipps should however still be useful )- Wards only cost 50g, really! So buy them, even if you are adc or mid, there is no excuse for not buying and using wards.- Try to avoid the prime-time of kids, most 12-18 year olds play after school and before going to bed, that’s between 3-9PM, if you can avoid that timeframe, then do it, you will get significantly better matches. Also weekends, Friday-Sunday are a high-risk time, just too many kids, most of them toxic are playing (avoid them).- Don’t fight people that are better than you, there is no shame in tower-hugging against somebody who is better than you. If you still fight and feed him/her, you will have lost your team the game- Don’t start or engage in arguments mid-game, if somebody is toxic just mute him/her- It’s a team-game, act and play like it, not working together is an almost guaranteed loss. Don’t blame people for playing bad but help them out- Communicate in the lobby, LET THE SOLO GUY COUNTERPICK IF YOUR TEAM HAS THE LAST PICK !!!- Learn to play smart, it’s not a deathmatch, it does not matter at all how many kills you or your team get, the only objective is the enemy titan- Be unconventional, most people play by the book, which means they try to copy-paste other peoples builds and play-styles. So if you can do something you are really comfortable with and that’s outside the mainstream, then do it. Most people will have no idea as how to deal with it- Avoid spamming emotes: what’s more scary? A) a guy that laughs at you the whole time, while running in a circle like a frightened chicken or B) a completly motionless and silent opponent that when he moves, always does something significant for the match-flow- Your deaths are your own fault, unless you are killed at your own fountain. You are the only one who makes decisions regarding your gods life. If you take a risk, then don’t blame others if they didn’t play at a level you expected. You simply can’t expect everybody to be good. So don’t trust them primarily, trust yourself and play safe.- If you notice that your team is really really toxic in the early game or in the lobby already, just mute everyone in the game and play. It’s often better to just focus on yourself, then to try and calm down a group of 15 year olds.- Absolutly never ever F6! You can win games with 30 kills less than the enemy team. You are throwing away points for nothing if you surrender, points that could have gotten you the promotion.- Learn what the top-bans are, however you gotta ban the noob-destroyers and not the gods the pro-players ban. Noob destroyers are most of the time AA mages (Ao, Chronos, Freya) and newly released gods.- There is a minimap in the upper right corner, people tend to forget that it exists, so don’t forget it :p- Pick gods you are good with, not just gods considered to be OP, especially if you can’t play the gods that are considered OP.- Don’t be a ♥♥♥♥♥
