How to Race against any car WITH any car

Overview

No nonsense or fooling around, this is a genuine guide on how to race around on a track with any car you want, while being able to CHOSE who you get to race against! Within this guide, there will be 2 different methods. One with Radial menu and the other with competitive scenario conditions. You will be walked through with both.

First things first!

First things first! You’ll need to download the figure 8 races mod as well as the WCA Race Pack either on the official beam website, or within the in-game repository.

These are very great mods, and what we’ll be using for this guide.

Method A

Step 1 A: Start one of the 2 scenarios above. And when it starts, go to your UI apps bar and add on the radial menu onto your HUD.

Step 2 A: With the use of the radial menu, replace your current car with one of your choice. Once the replacement spawns in, Reset with R so it registers for the scenario.

Step 3 A: Use switch car with the radial menu, then repeat the process. You can replace every car in the race if you please but if you delete one, you won’t be able to switch back again.

Step 4 A: Once you’re all set, get ready to race!

Method B

An alternate method you can use that may work just as well, if you don’t mind disabling competitive scenario conditions.

Step 1 B: Disable competitive scenario conditions. This will allow you to have the same capabilities in free roam as you do in scenarios, making you able to swap cars, tune them and replace them at will.

Step 2 B: Start one of the two scenarios. Either WCA or Figure 8 Races.

Step 3 B: Control E to bring up the car select menu. Pick your favorite. Once done, Press R to reset so it can register.

Step 4 B: Press tab to switch cars. Use Control E to replace, repeat for each car to your liking.

Step 5 B: Enjoy!

Final notes

You can do this with certain police chase scenarios, some scenarios won’t let you switch unless you duplicate your current car, and some such as the Race Week scenario series won’t allow switching at all. Experiment and find out what works or doesn’t work!
