Overview
If you think Ghost Ship Trinity is an impossible task then this guide is for you
Introduction
We made this guide to help other people get the Ghost Ship Trinity bonus. When we first started playing this game we remembered how frightened we were to even touch Ghost Ship let alone go Trinity. We looked on guides and other videos on how to go Trinity, but most of them were just crazy people going solo or talented players showing off their amazing skills. We knew right away there’s no way an average player could ever do the same.
Both of us are capable of solo Ghost Ship, we’ve done this many times before, but going for Trinity bonus always seemed like an Impossible task, something that can only be done by the best of the best or with an helping hand of “The Pro players”, well, actually not anymore.
Our main concern was going through the final battle without taking any damage. With no real safe spot to hide, our hopes for Trinity bonus seem unreal. So we though “How can we go trinity, with two players, is there any way we can make it easier for us?” The answer is YES
The solution was always there under our noses. The annoying lag every one of us experienced while playing online became the assist we needed. With the “help” of the lag we were able to “Glitch” the Trinity player away from the foredeck battle. It took us a while to perfect our methods. Our video guide explains in more detail about the lag glitch and how to do it right.
We wrote down our recommended route for the entire ship, so its easier to go though and you wont get lost or have to backtrack like you would if you’re a new player. Of course you don’t NEED to follow these path but its recommended for new and inexperienced players until you know the ship well enough.
We do recommend practicing Genocide before even tempting Trinity so you’ll know all the areas and enemies. Try to obtain some good weapons and parts, it’s gonna be a tough fight!
Practice, don’t give up and have fun.
If you like our guide, please do consider rating it up!
The Basics
- Unless you have the reflexes of a wild cat on steroids, you going to need a partner.
- Make sure that the Trinity player is the client and not the host. The lag glitch would work better this way.
- Level 45- 49 is the recommended. You shouldn’t go lvl 50 unless you’re ready to face Ghost Norman. The genocide bonus can be obtained even without killing Ghost Norman.
- The Trinity player should use a weapon with “Light Weight” name tag for speed boost. This is a must have if you’re planning on executing the lag glitch.
- The other player should have decent weapons capable of dealing with all sorts of threats. We highly recommend using ammo restore parts such as Cornucopia or Gluttony. Ammo preservation is the key to success. Switch between weapons in order to let the Cornucopia parts recover ammo.
- Having “Fangs” attachment for regaining health is also a good idea in order to save on herbs.
- Upgrade your ammunition capacity, herb and grenades to the maximum.
- Also as a little side note, Skype or voice chat is highly recommended but not a mandatory. Its much more easier if both parts can communicate with each other without the use of typing.
Ghost Ship Glitch Technics Step by Step
Recommended Route
___________________________________________________________________________
1. Crew’s Quarters:
Enter the cabin and go forward through the crew’s cafeteria until you reach the kitchen. Kill all the enemies for a key and make your way back to the elevator.
2. Flooded Elevator Shaft (UAV):
In the square flooded room climb the ladder to the right and proceed through the tunnel until you reached the the Casino’s VIP room.
3. Casino:
Clear all the enemies in the Casino for a key. Proceed forward to the giant hall and take the elevator leading to the Observation Deck.
4. Observation Deck:
As shown on the video guide , the Trinity player should stand right outside the elevator, while having the prompt to open the elevator door. The other player should stand at the center of the Observation Deck. The person by the elevator press the elevator button and immediately run towards the center. As soon as you notice enemies spawn, if you’re the Trinity player, run back inside the elevator. The other player should stand in front of the elevator and tank any incoming enemies. After every B.O.Ws has be eliminated you’ll get another key. Take the elevator and head to the Promenade.
5. Promenade (Front area):
Heading into this room from the main hall, kill the wolfs and the Scagdead for another key. Don’t use a key in this area, simply backtrack through the big doors you entered and climb the staircase all the way on top to the Solarium. The other half of the Promenade will be revisited later.
6. Solarium:
In the pool area kill all the enemies and don’t forget the small maintenance room. After clearing the Solarium you wont get a key, since you already got it on the Observation deck. Head back to the giant hall and down to the Cafeteria.
7. Cafeteria/Upper Cabins and Lower Cabins:
Enter the dining room, clear the area and make your way up the staircase to the Upper Cabins.
In one of the rooms there’s a TV Screen with white noise. A Wall Blister will charge at you after entering the bathroom. Make sure it’s there and that you killed it before proceeding though the map, since sometimes the Wall Blister tends to fall though the map and sometimes not even spawning. Needless to say, if it won’t spawn your Trinity bonus is lost.
After clearing every room and hallway head down to the Lower Cabins using the staircase or the elevator. Kill all the enemies in that area and backtrack through the dining room to the main hall.
8. Flooded Catwalk:
Backtrack through the Casino and head to the UAV room. Dive into the water and swim forward to the next area. If you’ve been grabbed by a Sea Creeper, you’ll lose your “No Damage” bonus. In order to avoid this scenario, you can stun Sea Creepers by throwing Pulse Grenades while standing still underwater. The Sea Creepers you’ll encounter in this area cannot be killed and doesn’t count towards your Genocide.
Kill all the enemies in the next room for a key. Dive once more and climb up the ledge into the Laboratory area.
9. Laboratory:
Enter the sterilization chambers. Once both players are inside, the doors will lock. Watch out from a spawning Scarmiglione. After the enemy is gone the door will open again.
The next area is a square room with a large aquarium in the middle. The Trinity player should run towards the elevator at the far end of the room while the other person stands inside the sterilization chamber. Once located near the elevator, turn around and run back inside the sterilization chamber and have the other player step outside and head towards the center of the room. If done correctly, the enemies should spawn while the Trinity player is relatively safe inside the sterilization chamber. Watch the video guide for further details.
Clear all enemies for a key and take the elevator to the next level of the Laboratory. Follow the sidewalk into a big room with the container of the virus in the middle. Make sure you killed every enemy before leaving the Laboratory complex.
10. Emergency Passage:
Unlock the door at the far end of the sidewalk and jump to the water. Make your way through the flooded corridors. Once you’ve reached a high broken elevator shaft, climb on top of the ladder and head outside to the Side Deck.
11. Side Deck:
Proceed through this long hallway, clear it until you get a key. After opening the door at the end, make sure you kill the yellow fish lurking there. Also some weapon parts are located here, so if you ever wanna grind some part, this is one of the routes you should take. Enter the deck and take the elevator to the Bridge.
12. Bridge:
Coming into this room, locate yourself between those two computers on the upper part, doing so should protect you from the Scarmigliones that will spawn here. Kill every enemy until you get a key and a weapon part. Make your way down to the elevator where the yellow fish is located and take the elevator down to the Promenade.
13. Promenade (Back Area):
Coming up here is a big area with shops and restaurants populated by Oozes and few Scagdeads. After taking out all the Oozes, 3 Scagdeads will spawn. The Trinity player should step inside and assist his partner as much as he can. Scagdeads are notorious enemies and should be dealt with caution. Pulse Grenades and B.O.Ws. Decoy are very effective against those type of monsters.
14. Deck:
Once both players are at the entrance to the helipad, by the metal stairs, the Trinity player should run to the crates at the end of the foredeck, then turn around and run straight back. When he reaches the metal stairs, he’ll immediately signal his partner to step inside the helipad. Doing so will trigger the Deck’s cut-off battle while the Trinity player is safe the whole time behind the newly spawned containers. Watch the video guide for further details and tips .
The defending player must eliminate all B.O.W waves by himself. Enemies defeated by the “glitched” player might not count towards the “Genocide” bonus. (Needs further testing)
Conclusion
Assuming you’ve eliminated every enemy in the map and didn’t take any damage, you should have your Trinity bonus. Congratulations!
