Ninja Move and Chakra Dash

Minato is the best character for ninja move.
His moves are base on a teleport, and with that teleport he cant soffer any attack.

Advantages of Minato Fast Ninja Move:

  • Its way more hard for your opponent to catch you or hit you with any attack
  • Avoid attacks without losing any time or sub bar
  • Opponent cant know where are you going next
  • There is no use of Chakra
  • You can be moving around always pressing the Guard button. If for some reason the opponent catch you, if you are holding the Guard button you will not receive a direct hit

Disadvantages of Minato Fast Ninja Move:

  • Very hard to do and on online mode its even harder duo the delay (just one ms delay and its all wrong)
  • Since its very easy to make mistakes doing this, if you fail you will probably do a normal Air Dash to the opponent leaving yourself totally expose to a attack

How to do:
– Remember to be the most effective keep pressing the guard button all the time

By name:
Jump -> Jump + Left or Right -> Jump -> Jump + Left or Right

PS: You can go Forward or Left or Right. You can move minato wherever you want.
If you choose to go back he will not use teleport.

By Buttons Xbox Combination:
A -> A + Left, Right or Forward Stick -> A -> A + Left, Right or Forward Stick

Final words:
Minato ninja move is one of the most helpful thing he have. Don’t try to use it has fast as you can but as efficient as you can. As you can see i dodge kimimaro jutso, but i did it a little more slow just to be sure that i would teleport without receive the hit

Advantages of fancy and tricky Air Chakra Dash:

  • Opponent thinks you go other way and you just dash right to him
  • Avoid Fireballs and other jutso and dash right after
  • Lower Air Dash. Remember, the lower your air dash is, the better he is.
  • Way faster than normal Air Dash

Disadvantages of fancy and tricky Air Chakra Dash:

  • Are the same as the slow air dash. You cant stop like the ground chakra dash
  • Harder to do and can cause the normal air dash instead the chakra air dash and put you expose to any direct hit

How to do:
– You can choose any combination. Back, Forward, Left or Right

Its really hard to explain by buttons, because you can do any combination and it has to be very very fast.

If you want to go for exemple, Left and Dash using Right. You have to jump first to the left and then press again jump button and turn to the right and at the same time do the chakra dash (chakra dash = Y + A). You have to do all this in mid air.

Final words:
As soon as you get this Fast Air Chakra Dash you will allways use this.
Its so much faster and your opponent don’t have time to react. Beside that he never know where are you going. Left -> Right or Back -> Right etc…
I couldn’t show in the video dodging the fireball and other jutsos, but i will try in other videos.
All characters can do this, but the ones that take more advantage are: Minato and Madara

Combos, Jutsos, Ultimates and Cancel

Minato have one really good combo to do whatever you want to the opponent, and that is the neutral combo. Its even the easiest one to do. Down combo is good but not as good as the neutral

Neutral Combo + Air Combo:
B B B B -> A A -> B B B

Down Combo + Air Combo:
(While Pressing the Left Stick Down) -> B B B B -> A A -> B B B

Now lets start talking about cancel. This kind of cancel can be use in ANY character:

How to Cancel Combo:
– During Combo, when you want to stop while pressing the left stick in any direction press A A and perform a action right after (like grab, tilt, jutso, utltimate jutso)

If you do it correctly you will see Minato doing a litle jump (sometime the cancel is so fast he dont even do that, he jutso stops and do the other thing you order) and right after do other attack.

Neutral Combo + Cancel + Grab:
B B B B -> Left Stick in any direction + A A -> RT + B

Remember after you do A A you have to be fast pressing RT + B, otherwise he will just stop doing everything

Neutral Combo + Cancel + Jutso:
B B B B -> Left Stick in any direction + A A -> Y B

Neutral Combo + Cancel + Ultimate Jutso:
B B B B -> Left Stick in any direction + A A -> Y Y B

Neutral Combo + Cancel + Tilt:
B B B B -> Left Stick in any direction + A A -> Tilt -> B B B B B B B

Tilt = You “flick” the left stick in a direction and then B

Down Combo + Cancel + Tilt:
(While Pressing the Left Stick Down) -> B B B B -> Left Stick in any direction + A A -> Tilt -> B B B B B

Universal use of Relay – Cancels and Combos

THIS PART OF THE GUIDE CAN BE USE WITH ANY CHARACTER, NOT ONLY MINATO. THE ONLY THING THAT CHANGE FOR OTHER CHARACTERS ARE THE COMBOS AND FINISHES BUT THE WAYS TO DO AND THE PRINCIPALS ARE THE SAME

Relay is something you can ONLY use in Team Matchs. Not many people use but should because their possibilities are so many and its more easy to perform than combo cancel.

How to performe a relay:

Just keep presing B and he will change his state to “Yellow”

The relay can be use to stop any thing you are doing (jutsu and ultimate jutsu cant be stop).
Do anything and then keep pressing B and he will stop what he was doing right away.

Remember: B+ = Keep pressing B till u see Minato (or other character) in Yellow and release right away

Combo – Relay – Suport – Finish:
B B B B -> B+ -> LB or RB -> LB or RB -> Finish with Enhanced Jutsu or Jutso or Tilt or Ultimate

You can end in any way you want.

Combo – Relay – Jutsu:
B B B B -> B+ -> Y B

Combo – Relay – Ultimate Jutsu:
B B B B -> B+ -> Y Y B

Thing to know about relay:
In this part of the guide i didn’t include everything about relay. But the more important is here
When the relay hits the opponent cant Guard or Sub. He cant sub while he takes hits (in this case) by Jiraya but as soon as you try to give him a “Finish” he can Sub.

Relay uses chakra. Remember that it takes almost the same as a jutsu

Minato Special Kunais

Minato special kunais take a lot of damage and are very helpfull to take damage when you dont have any chakra.

Combo + Special Kunai:
B B B B -> Flip Right Stick -> RB or LB

Combo + Special Kunai + Air Combo:
B B B B -> Flip Right Stick -> RB or LB -> Y A -> B B B B

Combo + Special Kunai + Special Kunai + Jutsu:
B B B B -> Flip Right Stick -> RB or LB -> Y A -> B -> RB or LB -> FASTER Y A -> Y B

Combo + Special Kunai + Ultimate:
B B B B -> Flip Right Stick -> RB or LB -> FASTER Y A -> Y Y B

Remember that after you send Special Kunai and if the enemy guard, you will be open to attacks
Dont abuse Minato Special Kunais, use it smart and don’t spam

Fun Stuff and Others

Im not entering in great detail here. Most of the thing can be seen on the video.
There are some cool stuff, useless stuff and useful stuff. You decide what you want to use

Any question about this video ask on the comments.
I think its clear just by whatching the video how to do most of the things

Thanks to “sephiroth_mania” for the last part of the video

Tilt and Extended Tilt

In this section you will turn arround you Minato gameplay. Tilt is very fun to do and it changes your gameplay.

How to do:

Remember:
– Tilt = You “flick” the left stick in a direction and then B
– Fast X = Click right after X
– Fast Awakaning = “Flick” as fast as you can to enter awakaning

Extended Tilt:
Tilt -> Fast X -> Fast Awakaning -> Tilt -> Out Awakaning -> Tilt -> Fast X -> Fast Awakaning -> Tilt -> Out Awakaning

You allways need X (normal kunai) to cancel Tilt.
Knowing this you can now start doing your own combos. Here are just some:

Combo + Extended Tilt + Jutso:
B B B B -> Extended Tilt -> Y+A -> Y+B

Combo + Extended Tilt + Special Kunai + Jutso:
B B B B -> Extended Tilt -> While in Awakaning RB or LB -> Y+A -> Y+B

Extended Combo using Extended Tilt
B B B B -> Extended Tilt -> Y+A -> Out Awakaning -> B B B B -> Extended Tilt -> Y+A -> Out Awakaning -> B B B B -> Relay -> RB or LB -> RB or LB -> Finish

Last Words:
Extended Tilt is not easy to do. It takes time to master so dont try to rush and do everything at the same time. With extended tilt you can do huge damage with Minato but remember to no abuse and do not SPAM

The extended combo with no use of chakra is just to show what you can do when you are out of chakra. This way you continue doing damage.

Use it with a legit way and allways respect your opponent.

Extended Combos

This part is a bit pointless on the guide. With all the knowledge from above you should do this the way you want. Its here just to show what you can do, but you can do the way you want and be creative with the combos.

Remember that this extended combos and all extended combos are to force the opponent to lose sub. You cant probably do a full combos like this on online, soon opponent will sub and u need to be ready when he counter

Online Matchs – Ranked Matchs

This is my last video for this guide. Maybe with time i will update this video with more cool matchs on online, but for now here it is.

All 4 matchs are with 4 diferent players

Without removing any credit of the last two matchs, the first two players (Ino and Minato) are both great and legit player (witch is rare to see in Ranked Matchs) that already know how to counter and be arround the “battlefield”. I enjoy all of the matchs.

The reason that the names are cover is because i didn’t ask any of them to post the video. Since i dont know if they would be embarrassed or happy to be in the video i decide to cover all the nicks.
