Overview
This guide has been customized to meet the needs and abilities of new players. You can use this build without getting additional levels.
Introduction
This guide is for low level players who are new to Froggy G. It’s not for people who have high levels and have unlocked all the upgrades.

Froggy G is a very strong and versatile character that is friendly for newcomers. Froggy G is also one of the most popular choices among top players.
Froggy G is good for new players as he is agile and his Splash Dash skill allows him to initiate and escape from fights easily- His Splash Dash gives him temporary invulnerability, stun, massive damage (once upgraded), an escape skill and an initiator.
Froggy G’s greatest weakness is that he has low health, so play carefully until you buy some additional health.
Health: 115 base (145) <base health increases over time>
Movement Speed: 8 <One of the highest in game, also the highest base jump>
Attack Type: Short Range
Role: Brawler <Can be an effective pusher with hammer pants and tornado>
Recommended Build Order
An interactive tool to customize and analyze the build order can be found here:
NautsBuilder Froggy Beginner Build[nautsbuilder.com]
- You’ll need one solar generation item- Solar Tree is good as it will help you to keep up in levels which may be difficult for beginners in the mid-late game.
- Tornado is taken after regeneration and extra health as beginners will probably have a difficult time using the tornado without upgrades like the speed and shield. When you have improved, get the base tornado skill before regeneration and health.
- Get shield with tornado early so that you can practice using it with less consequences, when you have improved, consider getting damage before shield.
- Froggy G relies mainly on burst damage to harass and kill nauts so upgrade your two skills fully before getting blaster upgrades.
How to play?
It’s best to watch a video guide than to read on how to play, so I present to you my concise video guide.
What to do once I levelled up?
This build is pretty good until level 60 or so when you get thornfish and other more offensive upgrades. Once you’ve gained more levels and unlocked more upgrades, get a more damage heavy build.
This is my normal build, but the order of the upgrades is flexible:

For higher levels, I recommend reading this guide by Kngrichard: How to dance the frog[www.awesomenauts.com]
and his video of three matches between the first runner-up (Team AWFUL) and the second runner-up (Team 3 Headed Monkey) of the last Awesomenauts tournament (APL2).
