How to Lick Your Enemies to Death as Leon

Overview

This is a guide to help you destroy your enemies with the all powerfull leon

The Rundown

This guide is from my 400+ hours of experience playing ‘Nauts. Leon is my main and while most people will say that he’s just an op character who is easy to play, I personlly think that it takes a lot of skill to use him to his full potential.

Reptile Jump and Speed

Leon’s Speed and Jump is one of the best in the game, you can use that to your advantage in his playstyle.

Piggy Bank will allow you to get some solar to start off. Without solar tree, it is very difficult to get this build going as Leon’s upgrades are very expensive.

Boots will unlock your full speed which will let you chase your enimies backstabbing them to kingdom come.

Leon does not have much health, so regen helps him keep it up without having to constantly tp back to base.

Tounge Snatch

Leons Tounge Snatch is a very powerful ability which pulls the enemy towards you while also inflicting heavy damage. It can also cancel some others abilitys like Ray’s Snipe and Froggy’s Tornando

The Morning Star Piercing upgrade gives you the most bang for your buck. with a whopping 90 damage for 370 solar, you will be sure to dominate early game

Cheese and Garlic mints silence your oponent. Silencing means they wont be able to use any of their abilitys.

Spiked Tounge Piercing gets you another 90 damage on your tongue and maxes out it’s power.

Cloaking Skin

Leon has the ability to become invisible for an unlimited amount of time while leaving a dummy to “fool” your enemies. This allows you to silently wait behind the front line for the perfect time to strike. Keep in mind invisible does not mean invincible, one wrong move and you can take loads of collateral damage.

Pinot Noir lets Leon regen even more while cloaked. I like to pair it with the regular regen upgrade so that if you are taking to mutch D.O.T., cloaking will almost garuntee your survival.

Surprise Party Mask makes the next swipe after you un-cloak do 200 more damage than usual. it allows for quick kills if used right with tounge and backstab.

Basic AI Chip makes your dummy run forward until death. This upgrade allows for better pushes because you can spam them and use them as sheilds.

Hack and Slash

Slash is a fast hitting, high damage melee attack that does base 80 damage. adding upgrades to it can make it the most deadly ability in the game.

Backstab Blade. Oh, where do I begin. This upgrade adds extra damage, all the way to 80, when hitting the enemy in the back. this is perfect for killing them as they try and run away from your grasp.

Hungry Sword adds a lifesteal affect to your Slash ability. It can help when you need some health and there are no creeps, just go behind some droids and hack away!

Chainsaw addon is just the base damage upgrade for Leon. While it is not necessary to do well with this build, it will propel your ability to take out targets to new heights.

The Build

The builds order is only important up untill when you buy cloak. after that, feel free to buy any of those upgrades in the order you want. the important aspect is the early game. buying morning star asap lets you become very powerful in the early game kills. farming creeps helps you get that 370 solar early. always kill as many droids and creeps as you can to get that solar up. Also many have come forward and said no lifesteal. I personally use lifesteal but i can be subbed out for slow, or if you are lower level attack speed. thanks much !
