Procraft and Friend's Ultimate 3.0 Awesomenauts Tier List for Awesomenauts

Procraft and Friend’s Ultimate 3.0 Awesomenauts Tier List

Overview

Procraft and Friends updated Awesomenauts tier list to include the new Overdrive expansion.

Overview

Hey everyone it’s Procraft again with a brand new tier list for the 3.0 update. This time, I have taken the opinions from different highly ranked players within the community, and combined all of our lists into one. Meaning that the average was taken for each naut, and placed into this list you are viewing. Since this list is including the brand new 3 nauts from the overdrvie expansion, expect potential buffs/nerfs for these new characters, as they were just released. This isn’t just my opinion, as this is a collaboration list, meaning that this list is highly accurate. However everyone is entitled to their own opinion, so if you feel differently about this list, feel free to discuss your opinions.

P.S.- A quick note here. All the naut(s) within an individual tier are in no particular order.

Enjoy everyone!

S+ Tier

S+ Tier (Broken Tier):

Jimmy: Incredible range, incredible tank, incredible mobility, incredible damage, incredible CC. A hot fix is imminent, as this naut is overpowered, and unfair.

Nibbs: She does way to much damage, her pull, slow, and shield all need to be nerfed. And for some damn reason, her boots do damage.

S Tier

S Tier (Slightly above the point of balance):

Yoolip: His dinos do ridiculous damage, the stun is incredibly easy to hit and he also has great healing.

Genji: The mother (or butterfly) of all counters. His cocoon is amazing for teamfights, his healing is off the charts, blessing shield, push capability, and AA damage are all great.

Frog: One of the fastest movement speeds in the game, insane jump height, great CC, stun, burst, damage, escape, etc. Literally his only downside is his health pool.

Scoop: He is an amazing tank, has reliable CC, great burst damage, range, and healing.

A Tier

A Tier (Fairly balanced):

Skølldir: All of his abilities can apply strong CC, great tank, healing, and fighting potential. But be careful, as he is a very large target.

Rocco: Incredibly powerful AA. Unlimited range on precision shot, annoying slows, potentially endless vengeance, and oh yea Little Johnny exists. Just be careful, as your opponents are going to make an attempt to hard dive you.

Swiggins: Has one of the best lock downs in the game, great burst, great initiation, a respectable tank, and even has great AA. Just make sure that you land your abilities okay?

Coco: A solid pick. Amazing harassment, slows, range, and poke. Her AA has the potential to melt structures in no time. And my my my do her balls hurt (pun intended), just be careful not to get stunned.

Ksenia: Weak early game, but an unstoppable late game. Once her burst is maxed, and she has her upgrades that she needs, she’ll be flying around the battlefield virtually undetected, as she kills whatever she wants to. Watch out however, because her health bar is just like her invisibility. I can’t see it. Don’t feed the Ksenia kids.

Ted: Good poke, airstrike can do tons of damage (especially on the right map), stimpack stun is reliable. Take this naut with a grain of salt, as he has no direct escape, and solely relies on his knockback upgrade to peel for him.

Leon: In this current update, Leon is fabulous. His tongue displacement, and CC are annoying as anything. Permanent invisibility is always a plus. His decoy takes on his AA upgrades, and pushes for him. And his AA is incredibly bursty. Again, he does have a very small health pool.

Clunk: The tankiest naut in the game. In the current 3.0 meta, you can build him full tank, meaning he is nearly impossible to burst down, even with all 3 nauts attacking him. He has great burst and sustain as well. However, he is one of the slowest, and biggest nauts in the game. He is by far the most punishing naut to play.

Penny: Has one of the highest skill caps in the game. Amazing team fight. Amplification and burst is outstanding, mobility and escape are also on point. With her snack badge, she even has good sustain. And silence on pulse can be game changing. Watch out for any snares, silences, or really any CC and you’ll be the coolest furry on your team!

Raelynn: Her rift is devastating when used correctly. She has some of the best range in the game. And for some damn reason the effects of her “out of combat speed boots” still apply if she is IN COMBAT WTF. She can even burst you down with her protoblaster AA build! Be forewarned, as her escape solely relies on hitting a well placed time rift.

Sentry: Incredible burst and CC. He has great team wipe potential. You can also build him unbelievably tanky! However, decently reliant on team composition, and teleburst is not the easiest thing in the world to hit, especially if the opposing team is comprised of DOT nauts. Oh yea, early game AA is also garbage.

Ayla: The potential to 1v3 the enemy team. Evil eye is very reliable and easy to hit. Scary burst, amazing rage benefits such as shield and extra damage. However takes a lot of skill an calculations to play her well. Oh yea, and try not to kill yourself by the way.

Chucho: Amazing 1v1 and zoning potential. Great mobility, harassment, and push. He can even make the enemy team kill one another with his stick bomb. But CC is his worst nightmare.

B Tier

B Tier (At some disadvantage(s)):

Vinnie: Most people think he isn’t as good as he used to be due to the fact that they removed solar cloud, however this simply isn’t the situation. His silence on cloud is hands down one of the best upgrades in the game. His dive burst is great, and speed on cloud makes for a great escape. In the hands of a great player, an amazing teamfighter. You just have to get used to his movement, and learn to land your clouds and dives correctly. Oh yea, don’t get stunned by the way.

Derpl: A situational pick. On ribbit he easily jumps to A Tier, maybe even S, due to the fact that his grid traps last for an hour, and his turret mode/nuke hurts like hell. He is extremely vulnerable during turret mode however.

Gnaw: A very squishy naut, with damage that is theoretical, meaning that the DOT only shows what will happen if you don’t get health soon. In a world where burst is meta, Gnaw seems to fall off. However his poke and zoning potential can be very annoying to some certain team comps.

Yuri: Good burst if you can land the mines, and a decent slow on time warp. However he cannot move while using AA, and is incredibly vulnerable to CC, as melee micro stuns effect his flight pattern.

Lonestar: Used to be one of the worst nauts in the game. Then went to the most broke naut in the game. Now back to one of the worst, lonestar has poor teamfight potential, but some decently strong push. Overall however, he doesn’t really make his presence known on the battlefield.

Skree: Decent zoning, with okay push. His AA can be annoying if you are using it correctly. However he requires a lot of skill, and landing your abilities is crucial to your survival. He also has absolutely zero escape.

C Tier

C Tier (Difficult to stand up to other nauts):

Voltar: Burst is okay if you can land every single drone you throw out. And push isn’t that bad, but Voltar has the worst movement pattern in the entire game hands down, and his healing can be shutdown very easily against a team that knows how to counter a voltar.
