Max Payne 3 – Necessary Applications

Overview

PLEASE NOTE: Usually Steams installs these applications automatically when launching the game for the 1st time. In case it doesn’t and the game doesn’t launch properly, you can follow this guide.

CONFIGURATION

Before launching Max Payne 3 on Steam, go to MP3_Installers (for example, D:SteamLibrarysteamappscommonMax Payne 3MP3_Installers)

First, install Directx, click on DXSetup.exe
Then, Install Social Club, click on Social Club v. 1.1.7.2.exe
After that, install vcredist_x86.exe.
