It’s simple really,
- Step 1: Pay a bunch of “YouTubers” and Twitch “streamers” to play your game and promote it
- Step 2: Get excited as a bunch of new players “pre-purchase” your early-access title.
- Step 3: Do nothing to actually keep the new player interested in the game or commuinty.
- Step 4: Watch as very few players ever come back or continue playing the game.
- Step 5: Cease development and call it quits. “Thank you for believing and staying with us :(“.

- Step 6: Create a new game (titled, Rocket League) and do the same thing but this time with staggering success and massive sales for no foreseeable reason. (You might even be rewarded “Game of the Year”) — just remember, the ‘title’ “Game of the Year” means literally nothing
- Step 6: Realize at the end of the day, the only thing that sells game copies is explosions and Mountain Dew.
