Overview
This is a guide for playing a Loyalist Shaper through all Five Islands of Geneforge 3 on Torment Difficulty. I go through most of the quests, crafting, and locations in the game. I also play this the highest difficulty, so you can get a feel for what strategies work in the game.
Island 1 – Greenwood Isle
The 1st Island of Geneforge 3 on Torment Difficulty, completely done as a Loyalist Shaper. I will be using Battle Shaping and Mental Magic with a Missile splash for skills. This video covers all of the content for the 1st Isle. I have to come back to the training grounds later as they are so tough.
Island 2 – Harmony Isle
The 2nd Island of Geneforge 3 completed for Loyalist Shapers. Difficulty starts to ramp up and there is a lot to be done with the crafting on this island. I show you how to evolve your creations by getting 3 of a skill in them with Battle Shaping.
Island 3 – Dhonal’s Isle
The third island of Geneforge 3 completed. This is by far the longest/biggest island in the game to complete. This is where the majority of the story choices start becoming very serious for your character. I complete the Loyalist side of the story and begin to get late game battle shaping and spells going here.
Island 4 – Gull Island
The fourth island completed all the way. Here I get access to Rotghroths which will allow me to complete some of the toughest part of this playthrough. This is also your last chance in the story to choose either Shaper Loyalists or The Rebel faction for the story. I choose Loyalist of course.
Island 5 – Isle of Spears
The toughest island in the game. I show you the secret passage on how to get to the geneforge directly, bypassing a bunch of zones. This is where all the story choices culminate, branding you a Shaper Loyalist or a Traitor to the Shaper Council.
